Callaway S2H2 Irons

I bought these irons because these are the identical clubs that I learned to play on back in the early 90s. They were expensive then, but they are cheap now. I like the contour of the sole and the rounded toe and hosel design. Very good for crappy golf courses, bad lies, and deep rough. I don't like the extremely thin top line and the longish design of the clubhead itself. The shafts are okay and the kick points are such that they promote a nice "flip" to get the longer irons airborn. As much as I like these, they are not as good as my Ping S59s, however I do keep the S2H2 2 iron in my bag because I get really long distance from all types of bad lies. I also have a 1 iron and I think it is the most "hitable" long iron ever made. I recommend these irons between $100.00 and $150.00 depending on their condition.
