Callaway Hyper X Driver Golf Club

I first tried this club at golf shop with a computerized driver analysis. I hit this club farther on the computer screen than ay other club. However, I didn,t buy it because I thought because the ball seemed to explode off the head that it would be all over the place. Boy, was I wrong !!I now have one and hit it straight and really,really long.I love this club.Beleive it or not,I don,t swing like a Gorilla and use a X-stiff shaft with this club and don,t push it at all.I can swing inside without fear of hooking the ball.

I love the driver. It was just what I wanted. I was able to narrow down that I wanted a Men's, right handed, 11°, regular shaft Callaway Hyper X driver. I couldn't be happier.

Very consistant. I bought the 11 degree draw version, it was the most consistant drives I may have ever had in one round. I did not like the loud ping and ringing in my ears after the round though.

I have been looking to replace my old callaway warbird driver. The price was right so I bid on it as a why not, having not tested one my self. After a few rounds with the club it was well worth the price. the club is great. The only thing I dont love about the club is the ping when I hit the ball but the results are awsome.

I liked this driver right from the beginning, especially the face of the club, and the design. The only thing I dislike, was the length of the shaft; I had to add another inch, which help me to get another 15 yards of distance. I decided to buy it because most of the group I play with already had one, and I was able to test one prior to buying. I was delighted with the results. I have purchased others to sell it to my friends and customers.

Tried my friend's same driver and liked it. Never bought a stiff shaft before until this one. Really helps keep your ball straight and better control. The club head is not so light which I like. I can feel where the head is during my swing.

Sweet club and hits amazing. ive tryed others and falls short to all others....
and cant see using any other ive use to shot a 10+ now with the new club its helped me shot +2 great for a hard hitter.

I only started playing golf 1.5 year ago. So, I am still looking for the driver that is right for me.
I bought the Hyper X because that is the club I was originally fitted for. I was fitted for an 11* driver, but with a 10.5* driver, I was getting too much loft.So, when I saw the 98 Hyper X, I decided to try it to see if it would improve my driving distance. It did and that is wa\hat I like most.
The only thing I do not like about the club is, it is not a fade club. If I do not adjust for a slice, I will slice the ball out of the field of play.
Over all, I like the club, but will be looking for a 9.5* fade hyper X driver.

Good, average driver. I'm just learning the game of golf so my opinion doesn't mean much but it's a better driver than the cheapie that I had before. Biggest complaint is it sounds like you're beating a trash can to death. Really loud and others have said the same thing. I've had others hit it who have played a lot more golf than I have and they've all thought it was a good driver. I had an inch cut off the shaft and it helped with my slice problem but I still do it some. I wouldn't call it the most forgiving driver ever but for all I know it's very forgiving and I just suck.

Callaway has always tried to represent the ladies in golf. Alot of R&D goes into both the men and ladies equipment. While the HYPER X driver is not as new as the FT9 series driver, it is still a potent driver. I purchased one for my wife (16hdcp). She was playing 2006 GBB 13 degree driver w/ callaway shaft. overall,she was satisfied, but felt her drives were ballooning too much.
The HYPER X driver I bought had 11 degrees loft and came with a mid-kick Adila shaft. Her trajectory has come down,not only due to the loft, but the Adila shaft. Callaway has finally started putting some premium graphite shafts on the ladies equipment. To top things , I was able to ebay it for 103.00 dollars. You gotta love it !! So if the FT9 is too pricey,(over 200), give the HYPER X driver a whirl.

This is a good driver. I wanted a name brand and it was at a good price. The driver preforms well and I am pleased with this driver

This club is "THE NUTS". I went to the golf course and used this club on 7 of the nine holes I golfed this afternoon and every shot was straight down the middle of the fairway 300+ yards. Very satisfied. I highly recommend this product to all golfers with a nine handicap or less.

I was happy with the purchase. The club was barely used like the description stated. However, the shipping was a little late...but no real complaints. Would buy again!

This is an amazing club. I am 72 years old with a 12 handicap. I normally hit my drives @200 yards. With the Hyper-X, I am now hitting them 210-215, and very straight. The ball seems to "pop" off the club face. Occasionally, when really hit between the screws, I can get 230-240 on my drives. It has really helped my game.

Well designed, balanced club, Lightweight with enough umphh behind it. Sounds and feels great at impact.
