Callaway Hawk Eye VFT Iron set Golf Club

The best definition for these clubs: Forgiveness. The ball flies higher than with other clubs I have had/tried. Ball flight is very predictable on straight shots; however, I have not been able to predict draws and fades as with other clubs. I would dare to say that these are not clubs for low handicappers.
I’ve been happily using them for 2 years, I also bought a set for my wife and in less than one year her handicap went from 36 to 23. You will become so confident with your irons that you will spend a lot of time in the driving range practicing the short game instead.

Have long believed the old line above when it comes to golf. Played with last set of Titleist irons for 18 years. Demo'd other sets but nothing seemed any better.

Tried my son's set of VFT's and liked them but like a pack rat wouldn't give up old set. Son bought me a second hand set of VFT's. I have been between a 14 and 16 for several years. Just turned 64. At a time when my handicap should be going up these VFT's have me down to a 12.

My normal shot pattern is a slight draw. These clubs continue that pattern but the feel is really smooth and the accuracy has improved about 15%. Distance about the same maybe a yard or two further. Can easily hit a bigger draw or straight ball. Always had trouble with controlling fade. No different with these just my swing plane I guess. Yesterday was 3 over on back with a three putt on one of the bogies. Missed three birdie putts between 8 and 15 feet. If you can't play well with these clubs, get some lessons. "It's not the arrow, It's the Indian."

Son was beating me on regular basis, not so easy now, claims may take clubs back, could be big fight.

These clubs are excellent from pro's to hackers. They are very forgiving and have a truely sweet spot. I would recommend steel shaft for bigger guys. I have the stiff graphite shaft only because I got such a great deal on them on eBay. They are very light and I feel that the steel shaft would provide a better weight balance.

The best set of irons I've played with. Very forgiving and rarely a mishit. These are best suited for the average woman golfer. Length and weight are very comfortable. I strongly recommend these irons.

I was playing in a golf tournament with a buddy of mine, who was playing with a set of callaway hawk eye vft irons. I was amazed at the shots he was hitting with these clubs. Since then, I promised myself that if I had the chance, I would buy myself a set of the vft irons. Thanks to EBAY, I was able to do just that! It took a little time for me to adjust to the feel of these new clubs. Since then, I have noticed quite an improvement in my shot making! I'll be honest, I am a high handicapper, because I don't have the time to play as often as I would like. However, I have to say that with the vft irons, I am hitting better shots! I noticed that it is easier for me to get the ball up in the air with these clubs. Furthermore, the ball lands so softly and seems to grip the green. I remember reading about this in other reviews prior to purchasing the callaway vft's. It sure is neat to actually see it for myself on the golf course. This is the first set of callaway golf clubs I have ever owned, and, for that matter, my first set of what I would call "high quality" golf clubs. Therefore, I can't offer you a true comparison to many other golf clubs out there. But what I can tell you is that the Callaway Hawk Eye VFT irons have really made a difference for me and I feel they are as good as advertised.

Excellent set of clubs to have. I have tried and used different sets old and newer models including Callaways. I finally found the right set of clubs for me. It's easy and forgiving to hit with distance. That is all i ask for a club. No wonder Callaway Preowned still sells it at $500.00 range.

The product was as advertised. It was within a reasonable to excellent price range. The process was as described, and done fairly.

These are great clubs. I had a set of Callaway X-12 for about 8 years and really like them too. However, I can tell a difference when I hit my VFT'S. There is more weight near the center bottom of the club to get the head underneath the ball and get it up in the air. I noticed the ball flight is a little higher, but not as dramatic as it seemed from other people's feedback. These clubs are very forgiving and I plan on using them for years to come. I have wanted a set of these clubs for years now. When they first came out, they were around 1200 dollars. You can now buy a set on ebay for a fraction of that price.

These irons feel very solid. The oversized heads look good at address. They feel hefty which makes them easier to swing correctly.

Great balance and nice shaft. They let you go smoothly with your swing avoiding adding unnecesary force.

I liked the price of the golf clubs I purchased. I have used them and I like them very much. Some of the clubs had some scars that could have been noted by
seller. But,overall I like the clubs. The seller shipped quickly as promised.

We liked the golf clubs that we bought. Our only problem is that we bought 4 - SW and we did not receieve the 4 iron and we were very disappointed that we bought a complete set and did not get it all. Other than that the clubs are in good shape. We purchased the set because of the good price {it would of been a great price if the whole set was their} and the conveience of having them delivered to my door.

Very fast shipping - received in Germany in the same week! Slightly more used than "very good" condition. Since the word "Callaway" is scratched off of each Hawk Eye VFT label makes me wonder if they were facotry seconds - or just really used... Still - I'm anxious to give them a try this week. Thanks.

When I won the bid on the golf clubs the follow-up was excellent. I recieved my clubs in a timely manner after I paid and they were exactly what I expected them to be. Too bad they didn't make me a better golfer.

The very first time I used the 6 iron, the club head snapped right off the shaft. Unbelievable. The club head went "sailing" out into the field! So far, that has not happened with the other clubs, although I am nervious when I use them. It's sad.....golf is difficult enough, now I worry about the clubs breaking.
