Callaway Hawk Eye VFT Fairway Wood Golf Club

These are the best fairway woods Callaway or anyone else ever made. Between my son and I we have the 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7 woods and they are fantastic. The ball jumps off the club face and flies long and straight. They may be old but they are certainly tried and true.

The club was broken when arrived. The package was delivered by USPS and the box was crumbled up. After filing a formal complaint, USPS will not reimburse any amount since I did not purchase insurance.

Suggestions: Get insurance if you use USPS, otherwise NEVER USE USPS for delivery. They handle their packages very poorly.

My friends know I am an ebayoholic and have been for years. Whenever they need a particular item, they call me. I know the ins & outs of searching for their item,it takes patience, but it is oh so much fun. My golf buddy needed this particular 9 wood and I was on a mission. Because it was for someone else, I wanted to be sure I didn't buy her junk. This club arrived in better condition than I expected. I was very excited and proud that I could have acquired this for my friend; that is was in great condition and I didn't have to make any apologies; and that it was exactly what she asked for. As you know, every sale does not turn out as smoothly. This was one of my favorites. Thanks for asking!

The woods are just what the doctor ordered. They were as the seller advertised them. The experience was very good.

This golf club is great off the tee and the fairway. Bought it because of the design. Looks good, and gets the ball up fast.

first of all, callaway is good brand name with impeccable reputation at golf world. Even though the item I bought was used one, I don't see any difference
to make a good swing and score at golf field. I like it

This series of older clubs seem to be very forgiving for an average golfer like myself. I have the VFT Driver.

The club was in the condition that was advertised and exactly what I was looking for at a good price. A head cover with it would have been the icing on the cake.

in Nov. we bought 4 Callaway golf clubs through 4 seperate purchases. Each was slightly used but in very good condition. They were the exact ones we wanted and we had fun biding on them. We paid way less than new ones and are very happy with them.

These were the best fairway woods ever made. They are hard to beat. I have tried newer technology, with limited results sometimes it is hard to improve something that works. They are real easy to hit and shape shots. I highly recommend these clubs. They are getting hard to find for that reason.

club fit the "set" of other clubs in the bag and at a fair price; seller set a fair "but it now" price indicating a savvy seller...e-bay is the purchasing site of choice because of the extensive inventory and the ability to purchase items at below retail prices; every seller, except one, was honest and forthright; and the one that was not was instantly removed from e-bay.

Great club I have the VFT Driver and love it so I had to have the 3 wood as well. WOW the ball jumps off the face just like the driver. I can just about hit the VFT 3 wood just as far as my Driver. Again this is an AWESOME CLUB

I already have one that I use all the time so the second one is a good backup in case something happens to the first.

Still one of the best fairway wood ever made.Sold mine last year and had to buy another because I can not find a fairway wood that I like better.

I don't know why club makers constantly replace winners, but that's what Callaway did when they discontinued the Hawkeye VFT fairway woods. When it comes to hot club faces, this one's as good as any on the market (along with the Titanium Ping Ti3, the Great Big Bertha II and the TaylorMade 580 & R5). Yes, shaft technology has improved over time, but shafts can be easily replaced if you wish. On the other hand, no one replaces a really good fairway wood clubhead like this one. Bottom line, the VFT's a pure keeper.

I have had good luck with all my purchases on E-Bay. I check prices and have found E-Bay is any where from 50 to 75% cheaper than anywhere else.

The only degative comment that I have is not with E-Bay but with the seller on shipping charges. If you are not careful you will be overcharged on the shipping.

I have bought cars, motorcycles, and many golf clubs. E-Bay is a daily ritual at my home.

club was is excellent condition as shown on pics during auction. I purchase club about 3 weeks ago and have play several rounds with it and hits just like i imagined.

Easy transaction, received the club as described. love the club. I had one for years and need to replace it but can't find a better club. this might be the only new one out there.

I've had only the best service using ebay and paypal for my purchases. My hawkeye golf club was just as advertised, shipping was quick and packaging was very good. I had decided to replace my clubs with others more updated without going with the new retail prices. I'm very happy with my new clubs.
