PURE Callaway. Very forgiving. Supersize head with ton's of perimeter weighting, especially in the sole, helps to get the ball airborne quickly. They feel slightly heavier than the X-12's and X-14's, but not so heavy as to be cumbersome. The titanium face will last forever. Hard to find a club that's easier to hit for mid- to high-handicappers. Probably not the club for low-handicappers who have the skill to work the ball.

I'm an avid golfer for many years now. I'm familiar with these golf clubs as well as many others. These clubs are easy to hit and had graphite shafts which I prefer. They were up for bids at a time I was looking for good used clubs and the bidding was at a reasonable value. I have owned some Callaway clubs before so I knew these were clubs I would like. I haven't been disappointed.
These clubs came with grips that don't last very long for me. I often regrip clubs myself so that wasn't a problem for me. The only drawback to these clubs(if you can call it that) is that they spark a lot when you hit a golf ball. They are made of titanium so that is why they flash sparks. I didn't know that before I purchased them, but that would not have stopped me from buying them.

These were my third set of clubs, the first two weren't exactly made for the beginner, and my scores suffered as a result. I got these a few years back and all I can say is "WOW!!!" Easy to hit, VERY forgiving on mis-hits, and definitely a player improvement club. Used these irons for several seasons and went from high 90's to low 80's. Would keep them if I was able to "work" the ball.

Easy to get ball in air. I had no problem punching the ball low. very very forgiving. practice first with them as the your distance will be improved. I hit a 9 iron by mistake thinking it was a 6 iron. But I still hit it 170 yards with nice spin... rest of day was shot with my distances. Light, easy to hit, good looking clubs, nice high ball flight... what else do you need to know.. Buy these irons and play like a pro.. well.. better anyway!

love the accuracy,and the forgiveness all in one.always used the big bertha irons.but wasn't getting the consistincy of distance,i'm happy.it reallt doesn't matter the year,they are all good.

I love the clubs and the price and del was EXCELLENT. There was sum hidden damage that I don't know if the seller knew about. it was a poorly repaired

Ultra Game improvement club. Easy to hit great shots. Not much difference between hawkeye and hawkeye VFT. These clubs were so advanced for their time and so expensive to manufacture that they are no longer produced today, but they hit as well as anything that Callaway is currently putting on the market today. If you are a new or intermediate player, these are definitely the clubs for you. Get a set of $1600 dollar set of Callaway clubs for $200 or less. I love ebay.
