I know what your thinking ... "Its not size .. but how you use it." But like the other times you have heard that in your life, the cliche is a sad sad lie.
I thought I had enough and swore I would never be one of "those guys"
Boy was I wrong!! The first time I stepped up to "Tee Off" ... BAM!!!! WOW!
Talk about a sweet spot! The whole thing is a sweet spot. I am now a true believer the Big Bertha. You may feel a bit funny using it in front of the guys, but after you add 50yrs on to your drives you will get over it.
There is a reason this club is so popular.

Although I no longer use a Callaway GBB driver, I had previously used one for roughly 10 straight years before upgrading to my current driver, the Callaway FT-i driver.
You can get a GBB for next to nothing now (I paid $500 for mine when I bought it new in 1996) and if you are looking for a cheap club, you just cannot beat the quality and forgiveness of a GBB. And with its titanium head, you'll love the "TINK!" sound it makes when you crack a nice drive. Although the GBB's arent as forgiving as the new 460cc drivers, this is still a fairly forgiving club. mis-hits can still come out ok. And when you hit a drive in the sweetspot, the ball is simply GONE!
What I also love about the GBB is that with its "Warbird" bottom, you can also use this as your LONG fairway wood. Ive used mine for those shots MANY times with GREAT success.
So if you are looking for a good quality driver but dont want to spend a lot, I dont think you could do much better than a Callaway GBB.

A guy unknowingly sold me counterfeit Big Bertha 2006 irons at auction here on ebaY. He was surprised that his supplier had sold him the fakes and was quick to give me a full refund even before I shipped them back to him. In a side by side comparison of the irons it was very easy to see the differences. Serial number, blade width, paint job and shafts were very different from the authentic Callaways. BUY ONLY FROM REPUTABLE SELLERS WITH HIGHER FEEDBACK SCORES AND A GOOD TRACK RECORD DEALING WITH THE CLUBS OF YOUR CHOICE.

The club plays excellent and looks great in my hand. Fits just perfect for me to make those long drives. Gets the ball down the course faster and closer to the goal than any other golf clubs I have owned. I also love the Big Bertha Brand to me they are the best.

I own most of Callaway's drivers from the past few years up to the ERC model year. I also own the TaylorMade R7 Quad TP. I prefer the GBB because of it's clean lines, lack of oversized head at 250cc (the R7 Quad TP has a 400cc head), yet solid feel when striking the ball. I can work the ball better than with the R7, especially if the R7 weights are set for 'draw'. The shaft I have in the GBB is a Grafalloy Prolite in Stiff flex. I do believe that an upgraded shaft should be installed in the GBB to get maximum playability as opposed to the standard Callaway shaft. Anyone looking for forgiveness, better than average distance and workability, all in an inexpensive club, should consider trying the Great Big Bertha.

Very good driver.... Hits solid, and sweet spot..the whole head is a sweet spot..I bought this item simply for the performance, and to dominate on long tee shots. Shaft is mid-flex, so it is very forgiving. Recommended buy for anyone...

It's been years since the GBB was the hot club on the scene. Since then hundreds of new makes and models have hit the market at huge prices. The GBB is a great club for people with tight budgets. Especially now when they are so cheap on EBay. My drives are about 20 yds longer with the GBB then they were with my previous custom built Palidin club.

Callaway great big bertha driverI am a very high handicapper, yet my first drive(no practice range, only 3 practice swings at the first tee) was 275 yards dead down the middle. With a very moderate swing. Love the club. Stayed long and accurate all day. Nice having short iron shots to the green.
