The first thing you'll notice about the Callaway Forged range of wedges are that they are a lot lighter than the new Cleveland CG10's. The head is a little smaller too, but they are very very easy to use, and come off the ground with a lot of control.
The great thing is, now with the new Callaway Forged + wedges out, these older ones can be picked up very cheaply, and are well worth it. I have four of these in my bag, and after having tried Nike, Taylormade, Cleveland and Ping, I can honestly say that Callway are the best for wedges. Not my opinion on irons, as I haven't tried their irons, but these wedges are fantastic.
Off tight lies, they are simply brilliant, and you get a lot of spin off precision timing the ball. From an average lie, they feel great, and I find with the smaller head, you get more control than many other wedges. But wedges and putters are usually always a very personal thing, so just try these if you can, you probably will be very surprised, and you can pick these up for a steal nowadays.
I strongly recommend the Rust finish, as the chrome does not give the ball as much spin, and you simply get a much better feel from these over time, as they begin to rust, (Rust models are made to rust, so it puts more spin on the ball).
