About the Manufacturer
The story of Callaway Golf begins with the company’s founder and namesake Ely Callaway, a passionate businessman and well known figure in the game of Golf. The company got its start when Mr. Callaway bought a small wedge and putter company called “Hickory Stick USA”, which later became “Callaway Hickory Stick USA” and eventually “Callaway Golf”. From the beginning the company was committed to producing quality product for golfers of all skill levels. Mr. Callaway called it “Demonstrably Superior and Pleasingly Different” (DPSD) golf clubs. Though the company has grown exponentially since it’s modest start in 1982 (when Mr.Callaway would deliver product himself from the back of his Cadillac) the commitment to innovation and quality remains.     Love the square face tour model, neutral bias, .5* open at address, purchased 9.5 with NVS orange shaft, 65g. low kick, high launch. Just a bit weak for my swing speed 100 - 105 driver, and slightly high ball flight for Coastal S.C. THIS CLUB GOES UP FOR SALE THIS WEEK..

    REPLACED IT WITH 8.5 TOUR, WITH GRAFALLOY PROTOTYPE, NANO TUBE SHAFT, SLIGHTLY STIFFER, MID BEND POINT THIS COMBO WORKS WITH SWING SPEED AND WIND CONDITIONS. I CAN GO LOW, MEDIUM ,OR HIGH TO MAXIMIZE DISTANCE AND ROLL.

    I HAVE PLAYED, CLONES, AND LONG DRIVE HEADS, WITH PREMIUM SHAFTS FOR MANY YEARS, THIS IS THE FIRST HEAD SINCE THE GBB CALLAWAY RUGER HEADS THAT THE HEAD CONTRIBUTES AS MUCH TO PERFORMANCE AS THE SHAFT. THE INTERNAL WEIGHTING CREATES FAVORABLE MOMENT OF INERTIA, THAT CONTRIBUTES TO HIGHER LAUNCH, LESS SPIN, YIELDING LONGER AND STRAIGHTER DRIVES. AT AGE 46 AND 75 LBS OVERWEIGHT I ROUTINELY DRIVE THE BALL 250-270 INTO THE WIND, 275-325 DOWNWIND, AND HIT OVER 50% OF FAIRWAYS. MY HANDICAP HAS DROPPED FROM 12 TO 6 IN LESS THAN 4 MONTHS.

    VERY DISTINCTIVE SOUND ON THIS GRAPHITE/TITANIUM COMPOSITE CONSTRUCTION. I LIKE IT BETTER THAN SHARP PINGY TITANIUM HEADS, AND BETTER THAN THUMP OF OTHER MULTI MATERIAL GRAPH/ TI . CALLAWAY GOT IT ALL RIGHT. BUY, BUY, BUY, BUY.

    I purchased the FT-3 Fusion Tour Driver and received a knock off or clone. I was told that the seller's account had been stolen 40 minutes after I had bought it with my PayPal account and told not to pay for it because I would not receive what I had purchased. They were correct and then 20 minutes after that I was told by EBAY that my bid had been pulled due to this alleged illegal activity. I have been struggling with PayPal ever since. I immediately filed a complaint, but all PayPal wants is their money even though I have done everything I can do to keep my money in my pocket. I am a very dissatisfied Buyer who can't get any satisfaction.
