Callaway Big Bertha 2004 Driver Golf Club

Very forgiving, impressive to look at but not as long as the BBII or ERCII while being more expensive.

The driver I bought was a 9d loft with a stiff shaft. I am a begining golfer, so I wasnt sure about the flex. I talked with a friend of mine that I golf with and he said that at $73 for the driver (what a deal) that I could replace the shaft and still be money ahead. After I recieved the driver, I took it to the driving range and MAN was I PUMPED!! First ball off of the tee went about 275 yds straight as an arrow. I was getting about 250 max out of my old driver with a pretty bad slice. 2 buckets of range balls later, I was very satisfied. I was looking for a nice driver but didnt want to spend alot of $$ on a nice driver just to end up messing it up. At the price that I got this one, I thought I would try it. I really figured that a Callaway Big Bertha for that cheap was going to be pretty rough to say the least. When I got it, it looked brand new! I would highly suggest this driver to anyone who wants to add yards and direction to their drives.

I am a left handed golfer, so when a great product like this pops up at a great price, you gotta jump on it or miss the opportunity. I am impressed with the quality of the head, shaft and grips- even the head cover. Everything is to the highest grade as one would expect from Callaway. I would definately buy other Callaway Big Bertha clubs- if the price is right!

Easy-hitting, stable driver that really puts the white pill out in the fairway! At "only" 360 CC it's small by today's standards, but still has plenty of forgiveness and is much easier to swing than those gigantic toaster-sized 460 CC heads that dominate the driver market nowadays. Has a nice satisfying thump at impact and you can feel the ball rocket solidly off the clubface. I hit this driver as far as any I have ever owned, so give one of these a try and you will not be disappointed. Can be found online such as eBay or at Callaway Preowned for a steal of a price; what more could you possibly ask for?

I bought this Callaway Big Bertha Driver off of Ebay because the price was great. Also, Callaway is a excellent name in golf. I received the Club and it looks Brand new. I am happy with the feel and look of the club. Unfortunately I have not yet had a Chance to hit the club due to the two feet of snow we still have up in the UP. of Michigan. But I can say that I am very satisfied with the Callaway Driver so far. Hit em Long and Straight.

the quality of the club is amazing compared to the kmart specials that i have been using. I have only been playing for a year, my game is not very good but my clubs are. I have had very good luck with my purchases on ebay and with the various sellers, I plan to continue doing alot of my shopping of sporting good with you folks. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! wacado

I used this club for about 1 season. Its still got that great Callaway feel, the sweet "ping" on impact, and its as forgiving as any previous Callaway driver. This is bigger and therefore, more forgiving than the previous models. For the money, this is definately one of the best buys out there. I used part of my bonus check to buy a newer 460cc model this year, but I'm considering going back. The larger heads all have a thwack sound on impact, which I'm still trying to get used to.

Shaft length and rigidity. Wonderful Driver. Does all the work for me and I dont have to woryy about a straight shot down the farway.

This is a nice club that is forgiving on mishits. The distance is average...not as long as the FT series. As with most Callaway drivers, this is a very good choice for keeping it in the fairway. Doesn't look "offensive" for an oversize driver...translation - looks good at address.

Overall a good choice and some good deals on this model if you can find one.

I have the biggest big bertha and I purchased this driver because I felt I needed a smaller head. It seems to work better for me. I love the sound it makes when I make a good connnection. Grip is comfy.

I like the sound when you hit solid,Callaway has it'reputation especially the irons. For the price you will never go wrong.

When it comes to drivers, so often times they all seem to hit within the same range. I was pleasantly surprised with this club because with my high swing speed I thought that the firm flex wouldn't be enough. Firm, I'm told is actually an inbetween flex of a bit more than regular but a bit less than stiff. The ball had a good high ball flight and I expected it to lose distance vs my Titleist 905S driver but surprisingly, it got about the same amount of carry. I probably wouldn't use this club on a windy day because of the high launch.
