Callaway Arnold Palmer Putter Golf Club

The Original Arnold Palmer Putter by Callaway is one the purist clubs in golf. There is no bells or whistles with this club. This club has excellent feel which I believe to be the only way to be a great putter. The heel shafted putter makes it easier for the golfer that has the "open/close the door" swing. My final comment is: "If the KING designed it, it has to be GREAT!!

I am afraid for all future young golfers they are not going to have the experience of putting with a great forged blade putter. This Arnold Palmer blade putter by Callaway Golf is the finest blade putter(and may be the last) ever produced. I have putted with the Wison 8802, the Wilson 8813, the Wilson designd by Arnold Palmer, the the classic blade putters by Cleveland Golf and a George Low Bristol. Without a doubt this Callaway Arnold Palmer blade putter is the finest putter ever made. It comes with a leather grip and I would advise removing that grip and installing a Scotty Cameron red baby t grip. It will not change the swingweight and the ball will feel like butter when you putt. These new Callaway Arnold Palmer blade putters swingweight lighter than the older blade Arnold Palmer "the original" by Palmer's Company called Pro Group. To me this makes the putter easier to handle on fast and slow greens and allows the player to make a more aggressive stroke. Even though it comes with a cover I like the fact that I can just toss it in the bag and forget the cover. Sure it will get some bag chatter but that does not hurt the putter one bit and besides I got 13 more brand new ones just in case. My goal is to collect 20 of them but they are getting harder and harder to find. If you are a poor putter and want to use a putter with great feel then the Callaway Arnold Palmer putter is the one you need in your bag. This puter is especially good for putters like me and Crenshaw who have a swinging gate style of putting. If you are a straight back and straight through putter then this putter is not for you but if you putt that way you probably don't sink many anyway so a change might just be what you need.
