Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (Xbox 360)

This game has the feel of all of the previous Call of Duty games, which is a great thing! Graphics look better and the storyline is great. You play more than one character throughout this game and you see different perspectives. It is very cinematic which makes the game even better.

Overall the game is very entertaining and worth the purchase. However, if you do decide to purchase the game, go ahead and try it on Hard or Veteran difficulty. It is mildly easy on hard, and I don't play too many first person shooters myself. Veteran will give you a good match throughout the game.

Some annoying things that occurred throughout the game was dying from enemy grenades. At times, literally, bullets would stop flying at you and what seems to be 20 grenades fly at your feet surrounding you. I don't know if this is a life like reality or not, but it sure was annoying after the first 2 campaigns.

A very disappointing aspect for me personally was the loss of 2 player co-op. Everyone loves to sit down with a buddy and blast away with enemies, working as a team and helping one another out. But Call of Duty decided to take that away from the previous version as they created this version.

Overall, the game gets a 4.5 out of 5. It is still an excellent game and really fun. If you don't mind a short game and single player campaign, this is a great game for you.

Certainly the best first person shooter ever designed. The flow of the game definitely blows away rivals such as Gears Of War and Halo 1,2 or 3. If you're someone who likes unreal tournament you won't the second you play this game. The graphics and gameplay are a 10. Gears of War was one of the only games rated a 10 and that was a shame because it dosen't compare to COD4. Someone needs to tell them games are fun without glitches. Those guys don't have a clue. Maybe they will get it right with number 2 but i doubt it.

When I first bought this game, I was just like cool.... Im gonna play the multiplayer on xbox live. Then after many hours playing this, I got to about level 48 and realized this is getting a little boring. So I decided to play the single player mode. Wow... as soon as the game started, the graphics was pretty good. The story line was awesome. Then when I started to play, I was hooked. I mean I was already hooked when playing the multiplayer but the single player mode was soo much better. The maps and scenery was awesome. The gameplay is sooo much fun. I couldnt stop playing. The bad thing was it took me like 8 hours to complete the game. I wish it was a little bit longer but the ending was pretty sweet. This is one of the best shooter games I played. 4 stars!!! Must buy!

It has amazing graphics, Although it sucks that you can not play co-operatively (as you can in such games as Halo 3) the game play really makes up for it. Great to play with friends on line. Fast game play and not much loading. An all around great game!! I would not hesitate to buy it again!!

I'd waste your time telling you what I liked about it, and to be honest, the only thing I didn't like was the manual. Just wasn't a good read. BUY IT!!

I think Call of Duty 4 is one of the best games out there. The multiplayer online is the best feature, but even the campaign is pretty sweet. The thing that could be better is that there be more levels and maps for the campaign.

I had purchased it for my son, he heard it was a great game & he talked me into buying it for him. I has informed me that the game graphics are super & that he has trouble putting it down.

This game is awesome! It is over Halo3, if you are a FPS player. The graphics are great, the game is pretty realistic. The gun will kick when you fire and you are breathing when you are sniping. I have the game already, but someone used it and scratched my cd. If you are FPS, this game is a must have. Of course, there will are are ones that are now coming out that may top it.. may top it..

this game has great missions and ever greater online play there is no better game that is a must have then COD4

Never got the game. Person I bought it from did not change their Pay Pal account email and I had to follow up about where the game was after 7 days. Then I was asked to make all kinds of changes to void out the payment and send to his right email addres.. Dont use e-bay too often and this is another reason why I dont.

Single and multiplayer are both great. I tend to play Halo 3 more because I have more Xbox Live friends playing it, but I do like CoD a bit more.

This is an excellent game for cross training. It slows down the Halo hot dogs and makes them think before rushing into combat. It is also a fun challenge that allows an old gamer to kick the young kids' tails in a relatively serious forum while trash talking them into silence.

You see yourself in the war fighting. Has excellent views to the maximum detail. The game is very mature and bloody. It is very violent and nothing was left out. The game is like a real war simulation. The part that I love is the "Death from above" you can see how powerful is the air to ground combat. I bought it because its excellent reviews .
To see its maximum resolution view it HD TV. I highly recommend it.

I like this game because it was easy to purchase @ a good price. I bought it for my 17 yr old stepson. He loves it! Now I cant get him to do anything around the house. He's always playing COD4 on XboX Live. Thats my only dislike.

I love everything about this game so far. The missions are great fun. I wish they gave more information on the online play and weapons selection and upgrades, other than that this game rules! I cannot wait until 5 comes out soon.
