Call of Duty 3 (PlayStation 2, 2006)

I HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT THIS GAME IS ACTION PACKED AND FULL OF ENEMIES AROUND EVERY CORNER, SURPRISES COMING FROM EVERY DIRECTION, TONS OF EQUIPMENT TO USE GREAT GANG OF GUYS HELPING YOU BEAT ENEMY ATTACKS, YOU WONT BE DISSAPONTED. CALL OF DUTY 3 CONTINUES IT'S AWSEOME REIGN OF GREAT COMBAT GAMES.

at least it is from my perspective at the time this was written. the single-player mode is a lot of fun, and the multi-player mode has thousands of active servers. lotta fun--great re-playability.

The game overall is good but it lacks much needed improvements and changes from the last story. I read one review stating that the game runs off old game engines and I will strongly agree. Personally I was hoping for a little better graphics and controllability. I definately would wait until the price drops. Not a Christmas MUST HAVE! Spend your money on the high graphics p/c game for now.

Great action and graphics. Good story line. Easy to play and save. Easy to follow game play and story line.

This Video game is excelent.I hope the next will be as good like this.The grafics are very clear and live emotions. The scenes are too reals.The sound is excelent, the colors are super. The only thing that don't like me was that i'm waiting more scenes or chapter.

I don't get why this game is so popular.. The graphics online suck and can't even come close to Battlefield 2. It is not as realistic as everyone claims. Movement is not as much open free roam, it's sluggish in the bikes, etc. I'm going to be serious with you, the graphics are actually horrific. They're dull faded colors and not clear and crisp at the least. I had it on PS3 and still thought the same. I'd take Battlefield 2 over this, anyday. Maybe the game is different offline, but I wouldn't reccomend this as a good Online Shooter to buy.

I bought this game for my son, although I enjoy playing them from time to time. He has played the other call of duty games and this is by far the best one yet! The graphics are excellent, the realizim of the game is top notch! You will not be dissapointed if you purchanse this game.

speeding delivery got it very quickly after purchasing also got it for a great deal. I bought it for my brother for his birthday and he really likes it.

This game on my PS2 came with a few glichs and hangups... over all it is OK but not enough to WOW ME out of my chair.
Graphics are about the same as the older version.
In and during my game play it hung up and nothing would free it so i could continue, so i had to re-play that whole section over again and then it worked.
In another section I ran out of ammo and had to wait a long time before more troops came to get any more.
Came to a few spots were the men with me said " lets move out" they left but i had to search for about 10 minutes to find out how they crossed the barbwire road block, this really sucks!
Another time drew a bead on this one enemy and shot him and another came running out of a house to the very same spot I shot him and then again and again and again for about 100 or more. I sat there and kept shooting the same spot...BORING to say the least...some times it seems as though the gun im shooting should reach the enemy and kill them but i have to shoot them 3,4,5,6 times before they fall and they are not all that far away from me.
I played Call of Duty 2 on my computer and this really was a great game on a computer but i do not know how this #3 will play on a computer...i wonder ?

Rush out to buy this one NO ! Save your money or buy it for your computer if it can play it.The only reason i bought this game was such a great price from this
ebay dealer, and because of all the HYPE about how this game is about to ROCK the gamming world off it's feet.
Like I said it's OK but nothing here to shake the world about.

I recently purchased Call of Duty 3 for ps2. As with all the C of D's, the game is very entertaining. There is plenty of action when you put the game on the higher settings, and it incorporates the use of all the buttons on the controller. There is also some hand to hand combat.
The cons: The advertisement said that the game was multi player. To me that means that you would turn it on, and set it for two player. It doesn't. You need some sort of techy network cable Blah blah to access this feature. The second thing is that you cannot fast forward through the dialogue sequences. And lastly, the game started glitching when there was a lot of action in the inner city fighting. Legs and rifles poking through buildings, helmets floating through the air, etc.
The bottom line is that I like the game, and am glad that I found it on Ebay.

the best war game ever. The guns, the characters. I like how you can play multiplayer. I decided to buy it because call of duty rocks and the price on e-bay was a very good price and I couldn't find a price like that anywere else.

The game is realistic, especially the mist of blood when you shoot a Nazi down. I like the Shotgun, because when you shoot the enemy at close range they go flying away. I like using it when I go room to room to sewap the room clean. I get surgical with the shotgun. I wish that they will do a Call of Duty with U.S. Marines next time.

I bought this game for my husband.I don't play games or even sit to watch them, but this one every time my husband plays i watch. it is like really being there.

I just got done playing this game. I have played all of the Call of Duty games and thought that this was the best. The graphics and gameplay are way better. It is more realistic and the guns are pretty cool. It was very fun and interactive. Great game!

Your going through a building while bombers are doing their job, then all of a sudden, being alone you get attacked by a German and you dropped your rifle. This scene depicted truly tells of its reign and grip holding experience. To end that conflict, you just got to follow the instructions on screen and wham you have his rifle and you just rifle butt, his butt to the ground. Chalk one up for your efforts. And all the way through the game you get some of these scenes as you go through. Remember in the earlier ones and the MoH games, how you press action and theres the bomb to destroy the AAG. Well, in here, you actually get to put that bomb together for the prep. You gotta swing the analog stick this way, press O to put the fuse in, then end it by switching it on to detonate by the X button. That goes to show how innovating the developers were in creating this game for you and me. Online you get to choose from the assortment of levels and play assault or Team Battle to a true CTF experience. Plus you et to choose what kit you have for that battle, whether a medic or a scout or a support gunner. Each class also gets their own types of weaponry that you cannot put off. You always have that and one other weapon too. then the inventory goes quite cool in it also: mines for the 2 assault types, rifle grenade for Riflemen, lay out ammo for others and you when a support, call artillery strikes as a Scout, heal an incapacitated guy(when it says your critically wounded) back to life. These all add a flavor to the game online. Now the only thing online that is bad, is that when an amount of people(large) go on, you have a great deal of lag and can wait quite a while just to respawn after you are dead. All in all, this game does truly define the WW2 experience to you. The best in its class today.

I've been a fan of the Call of Duty PC games for some time, and COD3/PS2 doesn't disappoint. The graphics and action are even better than on the PC with much smoother action and clearer graphics. I'm very pleased and looking forward to enjoying more PS2 games.

I bought Call of Duty 3 for my husband, I had already bought 1 and 2 on e-bay. He enjoys these games, the graphics are outstanding, the sounds are realistic and it’s just a overall great game. Anyone at any age can play this game, it has 3 levels for different challenges.

I purchased the game because I liked how the reviews & previews of the game looked. The game is a great game, the graphics are good, the plot is good, the all around movments & actions in the game are good. The only thing that I acctually came to find that I was not so happy with on this game was that I found the game to be alittle on the short end. I'd say it took about 30 hours of gameplay to beat the game...

Call of duty 3 is the best war game to come out yet. the format is like that of call of duty 2. in fact it is like call of duty 2 exept that you can pick up a gernade and through it back-if it dose not blow up in your hands. another difference is that if you go aroung a corner and there is a german there he will pin you to the ground and you have to struggle to get you off of you. the other difference from call of duty 2 is that your not just the americans. yuo are also the polish, british, and french. all in all this game diserves a 5/5 rateing. Also there is much more swering that call of duty 2 so be responsible with kids under 13

I purchased Call of Duty 3 for my husband as a Christmas gift. He has enjoyed it immensely. He said he thinks the graphics are better than the other two. Our grandson plays it too. It's a very addictive game.
