This game is one of the best games I have played. I recommend it to anyone who likes war games and online games. The online is right up next to Halo3 and CoD Modern Warfare. A must have game. 4.5 out of 5.

Call of Duty: World at War once again delivers sophisticated, class-based, online multiplayer action that has made the series famous. New additions include vehicle combat with tanks, and Call of Duty: World at War rounds out the multiplayer experience with improved features, such as persistent stats, player rankings, upgradeable weapons, squad-based gameplay, customized classes, enhanced perks, and more.

First off, I've been pretty sick of all the first person shooters that have been on the rise here lately, but call of duty 4 really lured me in. I've also been sick of all the World War II shooters as well, BUT even though Infinite Ward wasn't in charge of this Call of Duty it is a GREAT experience. The game looks beautiful, and has really stepped up the gore factor from the previous call of dutys. Something about seeing a legless victim crawling for survival and seeing limbs scattered about after artillery strikes that just kind of kicks up the realism factor. Once again, everything is very fast paced like call of duty usually is, plus the multi-player co-op campaign is GREAT! Though the split screen has artwork that kind of takes up part of the screen making your view even smaller than it already has to be, it's still awesome fun to play with a buddy on the same TV for once! Then of course playing over live you can do up to 4 people which has been a hell of an experience, especially Nazi Zombies. Trying to fend off hords of Nazi Zombies from an abandonned house and every wave gets stronger and faster. Though it's really a lot of zero progress I've found myself doing it a lot. The multi-player death matches, team death matches and etc. are a lot like Call Of Duty 4, but that's not a bad thing. They've added a lot of new features to kind of change it up a bit, such as sicking out packs of dogs (which really sucks to be on the other side of that offensive), running around in tanks on the maps, and new perks. I'd say any Call of Duty fan is really missing out if they don't pick up this game, while it seems quite familiar to the 4th one, can you blame them for wanting to rip off such a great game?

Truly the developers of this very successful series of games have found a solid line of entertainment which we can expect more top of the line game thanks to their “Modern Warfare” series. But back to this game.

This game has it all, story, drama, action, exiting, is fluid and its graphics are great. You can play in 2 different fronts (Russia and South Pacific) which have not been made in any previous Call of Duty games.

The multiplayer games have become a true classic of the gaming industry and with constant updates and extra maps it promises hours of fun for you and your buddies.

Finally if you are a collector, this is the option you want to buy, if you keep in it new condition you can truly see a return in your investment in a couple years.

This game has just about everything...good online play...even though the matchmaking is nothing compared to halo 3 (but what is?) decent story line and even zombies! Doesnt get too much better.... :)

Like: look of the metal case ( i hide my money in it)and canteen, the fg-42 from the moment I began playing, The double xp to rank up quicker, and the in game gold gamertag.

Love: Really nothing other than the idea and gameplay.

Dislike: cannot use the cateen, expensive and only worth it for true collectors.

Call of duty Worlds at war is one of the most action packed game in its series.This game was made for the serious player not only can you play the campaign mode but you can play online with friend and others,making this game my choice for game of the year.

i bought this game 3 days ago the game is in good condition and it plays very good i test it out the same day i got it trough the mail and every thing was in it

Yes EA has declined in their quality with the Medal of Honor series, but there has yet to be a sucessful challenger overall. WAW just feels like Modern Warfare with a WWII patch. The graphics are good, but the gameplay and controls are second rate compared to MOH. I mean you can't even duck behind cover and peek out, you have to actually move (slowly) into the open and back in a shootout. I believe MOH has allowed you peek since at least Frontline (Best WWII Shooter of all time, too bad it lacked multiplayer). I think even Goldeney on the N64 had the feature. I don't understand why COD doesn't. Anyway, take a lesson Activision. EA, also, take note, get your act together and clean up the MOH franchise with your next release, go back to what made Frontline and European Assault, even Rising Sun (at least it had decent online play) Classics, with HD graphics and solid online/multiplayer and Medal of Honor will be restored in its Honor. when i first played this game i had the thought in my mind that this game will e as less intertaing from COD 4 but i was wrong. Usally all WW2 games are alike but not this one. This game blows every war game out of the water
