First of all, graphics are stunning! It makes it so hard to play any other games anymore because of the quality and amazement the game's graphics bring. Just trying to look at another game puts you down because they don't look as great. Even with the minimum allowed graphics card (which I am using) this game STILL looks so beautiful.
Online gameplay is awesome, and with the patches it makes the online play never get old.
Only con to this game is that since it is rated M, it gives an excuse for online players to act immaturely and they all seem to use vulgar language often. THOUGH there are many servers that prohibit such language and have several rules to a FUN gameplay.
Overall this game is excellent!

Fantastic Game - COD4

Great game. You need a good system to run this game, however it is worth it. I have been playing the COD games for a long time and this one is visually stunning. Both on-line and single player platforms are very fun.
My best type of game to play is Base Assault, hopefully that will be added to the on-line formats but short of that it was well worth the purchase!

Call of Duty 4 gives a new aspect to the shooter genre. Incorporating both a heavily developed single player campaign as well as a well though of multiplayer aspect. Multiplayer games are a bit unfair due to the great perks and special abilities that older players get.

Only played COD-WAW because I bought it at a garage sale for (believe it or not!) $3! (while it was selling in the stores for $50!) Found it to be a revelation, and made a point of buying all in the series. Modern Warfare is a SUPERB game that you will want to leave to your descendants, if you are into first person shooters! Some have argued that the series has gotten formulaic, and although this is arguably true, they are addictive in the way DOOM and DIABLO were when they were the in thing! Try it, you'll like it! And when they drag your whitened withered form out of your bedroom into the sunlight, you'll hiss and spit at your "rescuers" as you strive to crawl back to your computer to annihilate the evil enemy!

I decided to buy this item because of the price tag. I got this game for $7.50 and it was received in excellent second-hand condition. The only thing I don't like about the actual game is the fact that you can't use an XBOX 360 controller with it. I'm not big on using a mouse and keyboard to play games, but this game may change my mind. The day I got the game I installed it and was disappointed when I found out that I couldn't use the controller, but I went ahead and played it the way it was set up, and I still enjoyed the heck out of it... so I guess I'm not so against the keyboard/ mouse game play it's just a new controller for me to learn and master. All in all this game rocks.

Really gets your brain movingThis really gets your brain moving. I am not a high end gamer, sort of a rookie, play these in the winter to help it go by and store them when good weather comes back. This is a fast moving game compaired to Line of sight, Vietnam Special asignment, VN Purple Haze, that I started out with.
With COD4 you have to be patient to work your way through it. Even with all the walk throughs that I read you have to use your imagination to work things out.There is allot of stuff they leave out. But if they tell you everything, what would be the challange.
Also the thing with this game is you can't use the cheats the first time through. Frustrated, but I made it through and I'm glad the game is this way because I find no need for them after the first time.
Fast moving, graphics arn't bad at all and makes you think. Just don't forget to check all the rooms, not just for the enamy but for the laptops that have intel on them. This is something they don't really mention to well. From what walk throughs I read they do mention some, but there alot more.
