Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (Game of The Year Edition) (Xbox 360, 2008)

i play mostly first person shooter games. if you like first person war games , this is by far one of the best on the market today. the weapons and combat is extremely realistic and a pleasure to play. i highly recommend this game if that's what your into.

Love the game. Gameplay is good. Campaign is a bit short but sweet. Controls are good; visuals are really excellent. As usual MP is where it is at and this game does not disappoint. Lots of achievements and unlockables to get in MP makes it interesting, shows tangible progress and keeps you interested. Can't wait for the next one.

The game is wonderful and it has great graphics. The storyline is amazing and has lots of extra missions you can do. Definitely a must have for shooter/war game lovers.

The graphics are top-notch and game play is extremely realistic. I've been a fan of FPS games, especially the Call of Duty WWII games. Fast forwarding to modern times could have been a risky endeavor for the franchise, but the game developers pulled it off. This is one Xbox 360 game that will remain in my collection for quite some time.

This is overall an excellent game. The campaign is very fun and addicting, although Veteran difficulty can become extremely frustrating. The online multiplayer is also extremely fun. The networking for the game is fast and seamless, so you can almost always find an online game in moments. Overall this is one of my favorite games, both for campaign replayability as well as a very fun online multiplayer.

The hard work has paid off, Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare has made Game of the Year Edition once more.

If you haven't gotten a copy of this incredible game, well now is a good time to get one, for you lucky souls who have waited get 4 new maps (Chinatown, Creed, Broadcast, and Killhouse) and those who got the game before had to pay $10 or 800MS points.

The story is made up but very good, tho short. This game is full of weapons used in the military, M-16's M-4's .50Cal, everything is just well thought out.
Infinity Ward makes all the good games, Call Of Duty 2 and 4, just a huge change from WWII to NOW.

I recommend you get this for the xbox 360 because of the controllers, i like the layout better then the PS3, I have played both xbox 360 and PS3 versions, and let me tell you, the PS3 version lacks rumble feature and no trigger just makes this amazing game look bad on a poor system.

So go out there and grab a copy of this Game of the Year Edition of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

I like the fact that Activision spiced things up by making a war game in modern times. I was kind of sick of WWII games, especially with Call of Duty 3 which was kind of disappointing. I'd heard alot of positive things about Modern Warfare and a Game of the Year title only solidifies it's position amongst the best.

great shipping advertise to be in good condition that why i bought it and it didn't even work but once, didn't accept refund cause he noted all sales are final and no refund so why did he say that he will refund cause he knew that it didn't work well i will never buy from this person that all.

I love everything about this game. It is a MUST for anyone into first person shooters. The controls are all very fluid and it is an easy game to learn. The story line is great, and the online multiplayer option is incredible. All in all, I recommend this game to everyone.

Single player is great although a little short, but the fun is in multiplayer. i sold this game and had to buy it again because i missed playing it on live.

The multiplayer is addicting and amazing. The story is pretty good, but somewhat short. But I just love it mostly for the multiplayer!

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for the Xbox 360 has won numerous awards, including the Game of the Year award. It has great graphics, a great "story line" (I don't know what else to call it), and is still wildly popular among Live players worldwide. When COD5 came out, I sold our copy of COD4 to help offset the cost of the new version. When it arrived, we were very disappointed in the new version. There are a lot of "bugs" in it and the gameplay was very frustrating. It was not at all as advertised. So what did I do? I re-bought COD4 and we are finally experiencing some relief from our frustrations!! The biggest flaw in the COD games are that you can't play in MATCHMAKING on Live with more than one person on the same box. If someone has found a way to get past this, I would love to know. But other than that problem, the game is fun, intense, very in-your-face and has plenty of support and members in matchmaking. I found the game play on this to be easier than that of Halo 3, and unlike H3, it actually shows you a death camera, so you can see what you did wrong when you died, where your enemy came from and where you could go next time you encountered that situation. There are plenty of maps too! Just keep in mind that some parents may not want this game for there children, so please do more research before buying. There are some pretty gory situations in the game. Also, try it out on campaign before playing on Live. There are lots of options and lots of ways to get a better edge in the game (the better your weapons, the better your kill-to-death ratio, the more "rewards" you receive like even better weapons, helicopters, air strikes, etc...). Great game and better than and more dependable than COD5.

I had been wanting to play this game for a while, then I finally bought it and finished in at one sitting. Its a great game, graphics, weapons, the maps...but it is way too short.

This is a great game if you plan on playing on Xbox Live. If you are only planning on playing offline, you will be done with it rather quickly. The gameplay is good and the graphics are excellent, but what else would you expect for a Call of Duty title? There are still plenty of people playing COD4 on Live even though COD5 is out there, so go ahead and get yourself a copy.

The game is outstanding! Please note that just because it is a "Game of the Year" edition, it does not contain the new maps. That is the only reason I paid more for the game (was to get the new maps), but I still had to pay extra for the 4 newer maps.

This is the only game i have ever bought twice. My first disk was damaged and without the game for a month i couldn't help but to buy a new copy. The graphics, gameplay, story behind the campaign and the crazy online multiplayer make this a must have in your gaming collection!

By far the best game for Xbox 360 in the last 2 years, online play is a must with this game so make sure you have xbox live
