Entertaining, could be better

Given that the Wii is a new system, it's nice to see franchise titles like Call of Duty 3 available as a launch title. The Wii's unique use of the remote adds interactivity as you hold up the remote to fire upon the enemy, reload, and continue through the game. The battles are chaotic and noisy with the sound of explosion and gunfire, which add to the "realism" of this game. On the downside, you are not totally free to explore the environment, as the play is very prescriptive. While most videogames arguably take you through some kind of course or script, this game feels particularly forced compared to other first-person shooters of its type.
