If you're buying this version specifically for the dvd I suggest buying it but if not don't. Great game, fun singleplayer(overall most cinematic and realistic game I've ever played), the multiplayer action is very fast-paced and may be tough to people new to the genre or the series, but you can easily get better at it. Great graphics.
