Call to Arms by Alan Dean Foster (1991, Hardcover)

Call to Arms is a fast moving science fiction adventure. The hero admittedly makes mistakes however he seems to turn them around to the detriment of the enemy. The way Mr Foster integrates other friendly forces into the adventure enhances the action and keeps the reader guessing about the outcome of the combat planning or in some instances lack of planning. I recommend the book to all like minded military science fiction fans.
