THIS WAS A HARD TO FIND BOOK MOST STORES TOLD ME IT WAS OUT OF PRINT OR COULD NOT BE FOUND THE QUALITY WAS OUTSTANDING I AM VERY PLEASED WITH BOTH THE BOOK AND THE E-BAY DEALER THAT I PURCHASED IT FROM.

Great book, very informative! Many pictures and descriptions that help very much with my hunt for collectible pottery!! I recommend this book to anyone who likes to collect pottery!!

I must temper this review somewhat. I have not gotten the book yet. I asked the seller if there were color pics while the listing was active, but did not get the reply until I had won it. This is a great disappointment for me as I am trying to learn about glass & pottery. I discovered the book late in the listing & I guess I just should not bid if there is only a bit of time ;eft. However these collectors books are few & far between & I can't afford retail. I found all the books I could ever want on Amazon.com fpr GREAT prices. I will go there for books all the time now. Being burned 2 times is enough for me. Black & white pics do no good. I wish the sellers could be required to put whether the pics are color or black & white & % of color. I got one book that advertised color pics & it turned out to be a center glossy section with about 15 color pics of only some of the patterns. I am not able to stay on Ebay all day like some because I work for a living. Hatbox

Fun and details coverage of 1940's era of California pottery by someone who really likes it. Includes history and relationships among potteries, help with identification and identifying reproductions.

In perfect condition and looks like no one has ever opened it. Fast shipping considering media mail is slow but less costly. Very happy with my purchase and would love to buy from again. Way to go!

Great book for Pottery. Have to get the bauer book by chipman now. Going to be a great help for my collectiong.

This is a great book to get a feel for some of the different California Potteries and the years that they were in production. This however is not a great book to establish value on pieces unless it just happens to be one of the pieces in the book. I recommend this book for study on general identification of california pottery but not as a resource to get values. A very informative book but not a price guide.

The book California Pottery Scrapbook is definately a must have. It has great pictures, many companies are listed, It started from the very early years to the current. Some of the items I didn't realize who actually made them. It's also a book you will refer to often. The price certainly was good for this book. Thanks for letting me share. Janet

this is a good guide thru the california history of pottery and studio guide - had facts and photos which thru me for a loop - had passed items up not knowing the info in this book!!! this is a great book for beginners!!!

The book looks new, even though it is from 2004. I like to purchase new books on different companies or glass since I have been a collector for many, many, years. I know a friend that has this glass and asked me to find out what it was worth. So a book with the prices was the way to go. Great Book.
