I love books by chefs, especially when they dish the dirt about the industry, other star chefs and the changing food scene.
My husband and I took friends to Stars in San Francisco the first or second year it was open. Excellent, fun and interesting. I've always been interested to what happened to that place and to all involved in making it an excellent eating place. This pretty much tells the tale. Plus much more. If you love fine food, eating out and are curious what goes on behind the scenes, you will love this book. Tower is or at least was a bad boy of food. Lots of interesting dirt about the industry, plus some great recipes. A fun, fast read.
