Cake Mania 2: Jill's Next Adventure! (Nintendo DS, 2008)

Cake Mania 2 is way better than the orginial Cake Mania. The upgrades are awesome! I also like the 200+ levels.

I bought this for my grandaughter for Christmas. Don't know a thing about them, but I know the item was in like new condition and was shipped quickly.

I really like Cake Mania 2. The upgrades are great. New store fronts, new products, toppers and frosting. The levels are just as, if not more challenging than before. I bought it because I beat the first one multiple times and really liked it.

It's fun and enjoyable for young girls. My daughter finds it not only challenging but educational too.

I love the "dash" theme games. This game is very similar to original Cake Mania with some changes. It is harder to determine what the customers like to have on the TV. It's still fun.

I love this game, but games like this always please me. I also like the first one, but I like this one better. The concept is the same, but there are so many more levels to beat.

The graphics are excellent and the color too. My grand daughter who is 6 years old loves to cook and bake. She will love this when she opens it on her birthday or Christmas. Thank you

I really like this game. I was given the Nintendo DS Lite and it came with a couple games. I went on ebay to see what was available in games for the DS. I was of course overwhelmed with the selection. But I did not want to spend alot and as for choosing I didnt know what I was doing. I also went to a few well known discount stores and I was not going to pay the price they wanted. I also will not pay more than $19.99 in an auction w/shipping and handling. Well, I saw this game and read the description. Ordered it and I love it it is challenging as heck. I first thought what is the deal with this. What is so complicated. Well for me it is challenging. I of course got a great buy from Ebay and of course at a good price and my buying guidelines!. Im very satisfied with my purchase and Ive purchased about 8 more games since!

Seller did not send item. Took the money for the item and the shipping costs and practically stole the money because that's what is called when you take someone's money and do not provide what you promise. I sent this person emails with no response and I also wrote to ebay about it and they are still looking up into this. People like this should have there account cancelled and prohibited from selling anything ever. I am very dissappointed. This is the first time I experience something like this however I won't ever buy something again from ebay because whoever manages ebay does not make sure that things like this won't happen.

I love this game !!! played the first one and wanted to get a the 2nd one cheap and i did , also love the fact that i got the game so so soon!

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas because she loves to play this game on the computer. She really enjoys it. It is exactly like the one on the computer but now she can play it whenever and where ever ahe likes.

I love this game! It is just as much fun as the first Cake Mania. Hard to put down once you start playing. All the extra make it so much fun. Great for all ages.

OK, first off, I really liked the online version of this; it's very addicting. Racing around a kitchen making cakes in different shapes with a specific colored frosting for several different customers at a time, and then realizing that there are some customers who prefer 2-tier cakes, not to mention the cake toppers (the palm tree, teddy bear, heart).

The problem is that the FULL game can't be played in the online version. Even the downloadable version is only an hour long. The DS game though is the full version. There are so many things that can be bought and upgraded. There are several different levels. The controls are very easy, too.


When I first saw this on DS, I thought "There's no way they made that presentable on such a small screen, but they did. I don't know how, but they did. It looks just as good as the online game. You can even see the sprinkles in the frosting. Oh, and the whole kitchen area shows up on the screen. The screen doesn't constantly have to be moved around to see what's going on everywhere.

The only con I've come across so far is that the cake stand, where you can set cakes to present them to potential buyers or either to just get them out of the way, can't be upgraded. It can't be upgraded to be 2 or 3-tier. Personally, I kinda rely on that to get me out of jams when a cake is almost finished, but the customer gets tired of waiting and leaves.

I can already tell this one's gonna take me a few months to beat, though some other DS games only took maybe a week. If you're looking for a fast-paced game that makes you hold your breath for fear of losing your concentration, this is it. The only other game that I can even begin to compare it to is Tetris Attack. That is the level of fast-paced, mind-numbing thought and concentration required. I wouldn't recommend for younger minds, but for maybe 11 yrs and older. Rated E for everyone
