in all of us, remember what Respect and honor and integrity is, and all of
us wanted J.D. Cahill to win, all the time. A great family film, as well,
as a classical film. A top western genre film of it's time!

took a really long time to receive compared to other DVDs I ordered at the same time on ebay, don't know if it was because of Chrismas mail or not but almost didn't have it in time

Big John Wayne fan good for my collection.. I always add to my DVD when I find what Iam looking for. Ebay has the best around, and will continue to buy and sell.

This stars "The Duke!" Nuff said. One of his better movies. You can tell he is getting older and doing westerns is just second nature to him. He is a great actor but the surround him with some bad actors.

A lot of people say that John Wayne was not a great actor, that he always played John Wayne. That may be true, because he was such a great actor, that he was able to always potray the charater he was playing with his own special style. A number of great actors were able to do this, Jimmie Stewart, Clark Gable, Spencer Tracy, Katheren Hepern, just to name a few of the great ones. In this movie, He plays a tough lawman, who's sons vie for his attention by getting into trouble with a gang of bank robbers, but finally help him to get them. He trys not to show favoritism to his sons, to show them that even they are responsible for their actions. Another John Wayne, must see movie.

When it comes to westerns, you can't go wrong with John Wayne. The scenery looks authentic. The story line is realistic. Better still is that this film is family-friendly. (Not all of them are!) We bought it because my step-father, who is a big John Wayne fan, calls my son "Budger" and we didn't know why until he hinted that it was a character from a John Wayne movie. (I should have known!) So, I searched imdb.com to find out which movie it was and then eBay to get it. I'm glad I did.

My husband collects John Wayne Movies and only have vhs movies.
We are now collecting the dvd's for him. The DUKE is the best...

JOHN WAYNE, what else is there to say about the MAN! He was and still is the BEST that ever lived. Every one of his movies I reccommend highly
