Caddyshack (DVD, 2000, 20th Anniversary Edition)

Caddyshack. This movie could possibly be the funniest movie ever made. It is at least in the top five. This movie should be in everybody's collection. If its not, you should be embarrassed.

This is a great American Classic comedy, With Bill Murrey Eating Poop (actually a baby Ruth), A Groundhog that dances to Kenny Logins Music (why Grandma, Why?) And the late Great Rodney Dangerfield (need I say more) + Chevy Chase.

Honestly i hadn't seen this movie until just recently at a local screening, and then when i did, the second i got home i had to order it (luckily i found it cheap on eBay, naturally) because it was SO freaking funny! Rodney Dangerfield is at his finest with his politically incorrect one liners, and absolutely brilliant dance moves, its even enough to rival him in Back to School, if you can believe it! Everyone else is great too, Chevy Chase is hysterical, Ted Knight is always great but ESPECIALLY in this, no one plays an uptight white guy better! Bill Murray is ... well Billy Murray, i don't have to say anything else, he's one of the all time greats.
As far as special features go on the disc, "You'll get NOTHING and like it!", ok its not that bad, theres a documentary which is pretty cool and a trailer or so, but i would have loved to hear a commentary from any one of the people who were responsible for this masterpiece of low brow comedy.
For the price, and even though the features are slim (hoping for a really great super edition that probably will never come!) Everyone definitely needs to own this movie, if not just to understand what everyones been quoting for the last 20 some years. If you are worried that you might have to like or know something about golf to like this movie, you definitely don't! Quit reading this and go buy it already! YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED, I GUARANTEE* IT!

Although if i was a doctor** I'd recommend you to lean over, gently pull the stick out of your rectum and go at least rent this movie...it might do you some good.

I love how simple the humor is in this movie. You will always laugh when you watch it even if its the 100th time you've seen it. Highly reccomend it.

My husband loves this movie so I got it for him so he can watch it anytime he wants. That way he can stop and start it at anytime. I also plan to let my grandchildren watch it when they come for a visit.

One of my all-time favorite films. It's a must for your shelf of things to watch again, especially if you just need a good laugh.

The seller did not have the title in stock and refunded my purchase price. Inconvenient, kind of wasted my time, but was timely with canceling order.

First and foremost Caddyshack is the greatest movie ever made in the history of mankind. It has a cast of the greatest funny men ever and should be required viewing for everyone. If you do not like, or even worse HATE this movie, then you have no clue. That is all. Thank you.

THE DVD VERSION IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE VHS VERSION, THE MOVIE IS IN GREAT CONDITION. THE DVD WAS ALSO A GOOD PRICE AND DELIVERY IS QUICK

I an not a huge fan of this movie, but my husband swears by it. My husband, and my father all enjoyed it and still get a laugh out of until this day. HAs some rude/lude adult humor, but otherwise ok. More for teh man in your family than anyone else. Not for the kids either.

Although a all star cast, The main caractors overshaddowed the story about the caddys. Not enough enterplay by the caddy's. Laughed tillI nearly cryed.

This is probably one of the most enertaining and funny movies that a person could ever watch. I have seen it before and that is why I wanted to add it to my collection. I would highly recomend it to anybody.

Classic film! This is a Family favorite! This is one of my husband's all time favorite movies. Our old copy was all scratched up. I found this used one on ebay in excellent condition. It works great and we are glad to get it!
