Cabela's Alaskan Adventures (Xbox 360, 2006)

This game is fun, don't get me wrong but, you should be able to roam freely in the environment. Instead, you are locked into time challenges and quests. I do not like this because it takes away from the reality of the game. In real life you do not have a time limit, you just take your time and.....hunt.
The rest of the game is very fun. Fishing, Hunting and even dog sled racing!
The graphics are excellent, and sound is right on par.

I bought it for my grandson and saved a little from the store price. He seemed to like it. Buying online saved me going out to to the store for it.

It is what it is. You're shooting fake animals, fishing, etc. I enjoy it. It's nothing super special. The ATV's and trucks don't drive like they do in Saint's Row or other games. Obviously this is not what the game is about.

Some aspects are dumb and some of the voices get annoying, but overall it's fun. But again, it is what it is. If you feel like hunting from your living room this is fun.

There are not online aspects other than downloads.

Fun game to play when you aren't waiting for what seems like an eternity because of load times that seem to be measured in minutes and not seconds. If you feel like running through the woods hunting some critters then this game is for you. That is unless you are also looking for quick load times because you will not find them here.

The game is great, everything about it, i like. It has great missions and free play. I would recommend buying this game any day.

Great game a must have for any outdoors man and hunter out there. Its not every day that you get to hunt in Alaska.

Get it cheap and have cheap fun.

The reason I bought this game was because I had all of the Cabelas games from the original Xbox. Those games were awesome. This game is so - so. Graphics are poor. Game play is weak. I bought this game and played it for about an hour and then resold it on Ebay. If you played these games on the original Xbox and feel in love with them, you will not get the same experience for this game.

The game came to today, My son will love it, he's into all the hunting game.. Cant wait to see him play it... Great buy..

I bought the kids a hunting game.The boys wanted an Cabela's Alaskan Adventure game so I found this one ebay dirt cheap so I bought it.

It is great that it allows you to hunt and fish different species. And the higher you go in levels the more species become available. Not only do you have different species of animals to hunt but different weapons to pick from too. This game was very well planned and laid out. It almost like the real thing.

Its ok, gameplay is ok, controls are easy. it would be nice if maps were bigger or if it was just updated to xbox 360 standards. i felt like it was a game that came out for the original xbox.

I expected more fishing, and better graphics, It takes too long to get everywhere and you have to keep loading things :( I was enjoyable at times but frustrating at others. Graphics and game felt cheap and out dated for a 360 game . Not really as happy as I wanted to be with it. The fishing parts are a bit lame having a timer on them . You have like 4 minutes each time you want to attempt fishing and it runs out too fast. The hunting is slow and sub par graphics . Again I REALLY wanted this game and wanted it to be better.

i bought it for my twelve year oladson who has rented it multiple times. He loves the game NS NEVER SEEMS TO GET TIRED OF IT.

We could not find this no place and so got it here and they ship it ouy so fast. They good for kids who like to hunt there was nothing I dislike every thing was great

A fun game to play if you want to brush up on your hunting skills using Xbox to utilize. Its worth playing if not just for fun!
