I missed season 1-3. I came in on the beginning of season 4 and just loved the show. I did buy season 1 off of ebay. I did think that the pilot was a good start to a spin off series.

CSI Miami, a spin off of the highly successful CSI, offers the same great stories but with different characters and a different location. Whereas CSI mostly takes place at night, CSI Miami takes place mostly during the day. Plus, you have the beautiful Miami as a backdrop. This DVD is great for newcomers to the series as well as for veteran fans. I actually bought as a newcomer to understand the series roots. I've been watching the show since season 3. This DVD set gave me the foundation I was looking for, plus so much more. The extra featurettes concerning the development of the series was informative and entertaining. If you like CSI, I would highly recommend CSI Miami.

Awesome show! Give it a chance. Most avid CSI: Las Vegas fans (including myself) didn't want to watch it because the characters are different, but if you just give it a try, like watching the complete first season, you'll see how great this show really is!

I love this show. Being around the law enforcement world this is so awesome and so nearly as it is. The science of crime solving has evolved so far. They don't dwell on the actual demise of the victim so much as the solution to finding the criminal. The fact finding abilities are terrific.
With my schedule I can't stop and watch the show when it is on so this is the answer. I get to watch when I have time, stop the show when I have to get up and not have to miss anything. I just wish I had more time to watch it.

We have been going through the first CSI movies season by season and have enjoyed them very much. When we tried Miami Season one we found them to be much more graphic and can let our kids see only two or three of the edisodes episodes. We definately have to pre-screen them!

CSI: Miami is hot and the first season has some very hot episode and a great spin off of the orginal series.

This is a great show and season one is one of the best.I would reccomend anyone who likes these types of shows to watch it.Of course I like all CSI shows,but think this one is the best.

David caruso is best actor for this role.he is amazing how he
controls his temper and genuinely cares for all the victims in the show.
and the rest of the cast is perfect for the roles given.

This season was very exciting and interesting. It was the first season, but you feel like its a show you've been watching for years! I love this season of CSI:Miami. I am a faithful viewer and can say this may be my favorite season of the show still. :)

I bought this DVD set a while ago because I've fallen in love with the show on syndication and wanted to see how the show began. The extra features were fantastic and it was fun seeing the science behind some of what the show glosses over. The first season is very different from what the show does now, it is a lot more science (Horatio is in the lab, even!) and you get to see where the characters came from. All in all, a purchase I am very happy with, and a show I can see myself watching certain episodes from again and again. I love the show, and love seeing where these characters came from and are going. Best moments: Throwing Heat, where you get to see Horatio's actual scientific specialties, and the special features where you get to see Calleigh's gun lab and Alexx's autopsy theatre. Worst moments: In my opinion, none!

Great way to see how they got started in Miami from Vegas. If you are watching the series now on TV but didn't start with it from the beginning this is a great way to catch up. Even though each episope is a new plot the characters background is good to know.

I love CSI-MIAMI and bought the first season of it because I have become a die-hard fan of this show! I realized that as I went through these dvd's that I had actually seen all these shows as re-runs, except for one or two shows, from discs one and two. But I will keep these and collect the other season's because these are so worth watching! I have gotten to know the characters and become personally involved with every one of them like any good fan of any of the CSI shows! I highly recommend this seasons beginning discs- as a collector item and a great cast of friends to watch again whenever the mood hits.. and it does.

I originally started watching CSi when it first came out. I got bored with it so didn't bother. Then while watching A & E got hooked on CSI:Miami. The characters are better and it is way better than the original CSI. I would definitely tell anyone who loves the forensic science stuff to watch this show. It is one of the best!!!

Actually this was bought for my husband who loves the series CSI! He is collecting all of the CSI Series. He needed the 1st Series to complete the CSI Miami Series up to date. It was at a great price and was in new condition. I love ebay and have bought several items from it.

I watch this show on Dish Network every day at least two or three shows a day and love it and get tired of seeing the same show over and over again dish does not show a variety of them so I am getting the whole show so I can see it from start to finish and hopefully see some shows I have never seen before you cannot go wrong with this show if you like this kind of thing I go nuts over true crime also and this show is as close to the real thing as it can get you cannot go worng with this show

I really enjoyed the fast delivery however there were a few dvdds that were pretty scratched up. Otherwise i couldn't complain
