CSI: Crime Scene Investigation - The Complete First Season (DVD, 2003, 6-Disc Set)

CSI is a great show. If you like crime scene shows and mysteries then this show is for you. The story line is always great and keeps you guessing the outcome. I love watching the old episodes again. I always catch something I didnt see the first time.

CSI is one of the most watched shows on television. This DVD set is perfect for new fans who may have missed the beginning. Personally, I think some of the best stories came out of the first season, not to mention the special effects. This DVD is great for establishing a connection to the characters. Here, you get to see them in their infancy and watch them grow throughout the season as well as the series. The extra featurettes are great for giving inside information on the development of the series. This is an excellent DVD set for any fan, new and old.

I am not usually a fan of TV shows but CSI definetly caught my attention. After seeing one episode from season three I decided I needed to catch up, starting with season one. When following this series it is probably best to start from the beginning so you get to know the characters and how things work. Right at the beginnging of the season a major dramatic moment happens to the team as one of their own is shot down at a crime scene. From there each show goes further into the history of certain characters as well as sets up events to happen in the future. Each episode has its own twists and turns that will keep any vewier captivated, and the high tech gadgets used for gathering evidence mixed with the special effects make this show just plain addicting. The first season of CSI was worth every penny and is great for anyone interested in mystery/crime/thrillers where they can be a criminalist and follow the clues along with the CSI's.

Major CSI fan here. I bought the first season right when it came out. I still love to pop it in the DVD player and go back to the pilot episode. Things have surely changed since 2000. Some say this box set is expensive, but it has come down in price and a used set is just as good. I find that it's worth every penny. What will we do on Thursday night's if CBS decides to end this popular show?

I love to watch CSI on regular tv. I did not see all the shows so I bought the first season to start my collection. I like a good mystery, crime solving show. It stimulates the brain into thinking of who-done-it. The evidence is there and what they find is a great motivation to keep watching. DNA profiling is so extreme in solving each case. It is a great show and I hope they produce more seasons.

I purchased this DVD set because I wanted to see the series from the start. I have really enjoyed the show. I enjoy seeing how they use modern technology to catch the bad guys. Great series.

I wanted to buy it for the reason that its my favorite show on TV. The price is lower to buy online than it is in the store. I bought all 5 season through amazon and am extremely pleased with the results.

I bought the first season because my family loves CSI. It is really addictive. We watch it every single night over and over again. I recommend this dvd set for all of the CSI fans even if it is a little expensive.

This season is the season that put CSI on the map (and spun off two other CSI's New York and Miami). This cast plays their parts perfectly and the characters develop as the season continues on. Each character distinguishes themselves as contributing to this series success. If you have never watched CSI...you need to watch it from the beginning. The first season, while rough around the edges, makes all the necessary changes from epidoe to episode to show they were here to stay. The originally CSI is by far the best...a must have.

Once you seen this season, you'll want them all!

CSI is, in my opinion, one of the best shows ever to air on television. Owning the 1st season on DVD to watch at your convenience, with no commercial interruptions, in the order that the episodes were aired, is awesome. I'd recommend this to any CSI fan and even to anyone who has never watched CSI, but likes to see science, drama and mystery solving all rolled up in one.

The first installment of the CSI legacy and you get to see how it all began. Introductions to all of the characters, not everything out of their past comes out in this season, but enough that you are wrapped by the stories as well as their stories. Some of the stories are not meant for those with weak stomachs, but over all the intrigue masks anything that would gross you out. Go along for the ride as CSI teaches you a thing or two about forensic science and see if you can solve the crime before Gruesome Grissom.

It was in good condition, with no scratches or nicks, and arrived within the promised four days. It was also very cheap compared to store and manufacturer prices.

I bought CSI the complete 1st season because I truly love the show. I have all the seasons so far and will continue purchasing them. I buy them off EBAY usually because I can get them used and save money. CSI is a fun, informative show that holds my interest for long periods of time.

I've been searching ALL over for the 1st season of CSI Las Vegas. Of course, the 1st season for any popular t.v. show is hard to find. I thought I would try my luck with bidding on an auction instead of buying from an eBay store (which isn't a bad thing to do, because I have one!!!)I always get outbidded and I sometimes hate waiting. I actually won this time and was soooo excited!!
When you are buying such episodes that are in a "season 1, 2 or 3" box, you must read all of the fine print because there are a lot of overseas copies and/or boot-leg versions. Luckily I haven't ran across any of them or I would be very disappointed.
I really can't say I dislike anything about C.S.I. except maybe the spin-off shows such as C.S.I Miami or N.Y., nothing compares to the original! I have so far bought seasons 2-4 and believe it or not, I bought season 1 far cheaper on eBay than what I spent for season 3 at Walmart!
I will more than likely try my hand at bidding for the other seasons to come!
