CNN Reports:Katrina by Cnn News (2005, Paperback)

My husband and I were in New Orleans, before Katrina, in May of 2005. We went to help two years after the storm with a church group. When I came home I decided I wanted a collection of books, to remember this experience, as a keepsake. This CNN Report is very thorough with writings and photos from some 48 reporters. It covers two weeks during and after the storm. The Photography is outstanding and brings it all back to life and the storm is well reported. The choice of photos and the writings all make you feel like you are a part of what is happening. I am glad I was able to add this to my collection. In this situation I do not have any regrets in the purchase of this item. It is a treasure and will be a reminder that we don't know what is going to happen in the future. I am going to treasure life, one day at a time. Also, CNN donated 100% of its royalties form the sale of this book to the American Red Cross Katrina Relief Effort.
