E.T for a new Generation... With a Stephen Chow twist!

I've been a fan of Stephen Chow for a long time, clearly Shaolin Soccer was an amazing film, made me laugh like I've not laughed for ages. Then I discovered King of Comedy which is one of his older films, but was insanely hilarious... One I very much recommend.
Then came Kung Fu Hustle, which was ok, wasn't as amazing as Shaolin Soccer but was indeed very impressive visually.
His latest is CJ-7. This film is quite unique as it is meant for children, but at the same time has some incredibly hilarious moments, with some quite meaningful twists and turns. His message and character of the underdogs and poor, shines through in this one. He's able to bring in many good topics, themes and for the first time, Stephen Chow is able to bring a depth to an emotional scene as brilliantly as he has in his other films when the humor was at it's best.
This film is one for the family, with silly moments, sad moments and an over all sweet experience that is worth investing in.
If you like Stephen Chow and would like to share a good family fun film with his comedic genius, then don't hesitate.
The film has clearly shown that Stephen Chow has grown quite a lot as a filmmaker and as a story teller. I think he's on his way to becoming someone quite interesting in the industry.
