My preschool aged daughter loves the Magic School Bus chapter books. She now likes this one the best. What she loves: there is just enough whimsy to make the book exciting, the narrator is female, and it is full of butterfly facts. As a parent I like that the fictional content is so over the top that it is easy for even a 4 year old to spot the difference between the scientific fact and the fantasy. Another home run for Ms. Frizzle.
