Pros:
Songs are universally appealing. They wrote all but one song.
Cons:
Pop-Punk sound, some "boy band" elements, IE they don't really "play" instruments well.
When the 90 s came to a close, the boy band trend was also slowing down. By 2002 they were all but gone from pop radio. In their place was a newer, more aggressive sounding sort of boy Band that actually was a band. The pop-punk bands began rising in popularity thus giving the girls and boys who outgrew boy bands something that was markedly similar. One of the bands to emerge in the USA was Good Charlotte; in the UK the it band was Busted. The bands are quite similar. They both featured 3 members who wrote most of their songs while playing a pop/punk sound that people either loved or hated....
