Burnout Legends (PlayStation Portable, 2005)

Burnout Legends is a thrilling fast racing game. Because its on the psp of course the graphics are going to be unbeleivable. However, the game seems to be more "geared", in the early stages at least, towards younger children. Although its a fast game and quick reflexes are needed, the early stages are rather simple, and I have recieved first place in every ocmpetition i've been in. Good buy for new users and for kids under ten who like racing games. Cars are pretty cool. You can be a cop with sirens!!!

This is the worst burnout I have ever played. The graphics are not bad, but there are numerous glitches. A lot of invisible walls. Some of the walls look like they are there, but cars go through them. AI glitches like crazy, and can go at impossible speeds when you start to beat it (faster then my car going at top speed with boost). In crash mode, graphics get worse, after you crash, there are many framerate problems. Also every once in a while the game starts laging in the middle of a race.

This game is freakin awsome!! If you enjoy seeing massive destruction while on the go, or need something to take your anger out on, I highly reccomend for you to get this game! It has sweet graphics, smooth gameplay, and most importantly, it has awsoma crashes. GET THIS GAME!! IT'LL BLOW YOU AWAY!!!

This is likely the best reason to buy a PSP. This game is so much fun. If you ever wanted to take your road rage out this is the safest and best way to do it. Such a hoot to play, this game has it all, racing and smash 'em up. The cars are great and offers hours of fun unlocking more and more levels and vehicles. If you like racing games with some crash and burn added in, this game is for you. Two Thumbs up here.

A great game for racer fans.This game has amazing graphics.Cool missions. I have played this game many times before.Burnout comes in a series of great games. But to truely enjoy it try it on PS2.

It is a good car game, and it is a lot of fun for a while, but It lack a bit of a story line or the actual need for the gamer to get the next better car, so It gets a little boring after a week of playing it, I would recomend it to be rented!

This racer is easily the best racer for the psp. Has excellent awsome graphics. Fast paced and extremely fun.

Burnout Legends is a fantastic game for the racing enthusiast. Race games are are in general perfect for Sony's portable system as the control systems are simple and don't require yo to hold the psp like a spider clutching it's prey. Legends stands apart from most racers because in the myriad of events the goal isn't just to win. In fact you must smash your opponents into walls and other cars as well as drift and boosting for lengthy periods of time all in an effort to get enough points to win. There are separate event for each as well where you preform a specific task as well my favorite being the crash tour where you must cause the largest traffic file up possible. Two things that I wasn't really pleased about were the drifting and the driving physics. When considering driving physics I always compare racing games to the old PS-one classic Driver. I've never understood why all race games haven't copied Drivers style as most race game cars move like a box pivoting on a stick in the middle. Also the drifting can be quite difficult to get down and even when I mastered it I still thought it didn't come close to the ease of Ridge Racer for the PSP. The burnout series will keep you busy for hours on end and has surprisingly few problems. I highly recommend this game before you buy Burnout Dominator. Dominator is largely expanded but removes the traffic crash series.

Overall, this is my favorite PSP game yet!

Legends is possibly one of the best racing games around for PSP. Great Music,
Great Gameplay and importantly great graphics that suite the PSP very well.
The Drift is great also,(better than Need For Speed). Also they have great circuits from all over the world to play with, from the tiny steets of europe
to the wide roads and mountains of North America. Also i forgot to mention,
you can still act wild and crashing your foes just like the old burnout
traditions.

The gameplay is amazing, and the graphics are astounding!

Other than pursuit mode, this is pretty much a carbon copy of Burnout 3. Mostly the same cars, mostly the same tracks. But that's OK because B3 is my favorite of the Burnouts, and now I can play it on the go!

Well there aren't any dislikes about this game. I love it so much!!! I love the fact that the game play is very much like the Playstaion 2 version, and i decided to buy it because i love the burnout series. I was never disappointed

Sometimes you want a psp title that would last for awhile, or most of the time actually, but chances are, they're very short and doesn't seem like you've had enough. In the case of burnout however, it's quite the opposite. I've been playing this game for a month now, and my completion rate is 10% that just tells you how long the game is. I'm not saying I play it everyday and every hour, cause I really can't. Which brings me to the next topic, it gets old very quick. I would be playing it everyday of every hour if it was more exciting. Sure you get some faster cars and some new tracks, but that's about it. The faster cars really isn't something you'll want to spend your time to unlock or win either, it's just not worth it.

Highlights of the game are good graphics and some nice tunes. Gameplay has no excitement, unless that's what you're looking for.

I like this game because it is quite entertaining. I bought it because I like games that i can drive/race and be in charge in.

This game is awesome, its fast, and there are so many levels it has great value. Definitely recommend this game to psp owners and anyone who is a fan of racing.

Wow! Amazing driving dynamics and a really fun game. I have been playing non-stop for the last hour and I am going right back at it as soon as I am done typing here.

Bought this PSP game for my son. He loves the action; I don't really care for the language and blood; ok for a teen who is more apt to zero in on the racing but not for one who might zero in on the fighting/language. Just use your common sense and judgment on your teen. Definitely not for young children or anyone who finds fairly frequent cursing and ability to run over pedestrians (or beat them up or shoot them) offensive. It is violent.

For those who played Burnout 3 on the PS2 this is excellent to pick up and play while on the road. Excellent game.

I bought this for my 10 year old son for Christmas because it had good reviews. He said that he likes it. He doesn't love it but he likes it.

FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT PLAYED THE GAME BEFORE, THE CRASH PART OF THE GAME IS WORTH GETTING THE GAME BY IT SELF.

This is my first game for the PSP and it is simply beautiful. It's the fast paced car racing and crashing that any fan of the Burnout series is looking for. It has races, takedowns, crashes, and online play. If youre a fan of the series, especially a fan of Burnout Takedown for PS2, then you'll definitely love being able to take the action with you on the road. Much of it's gameplay resembles Burnout Takedown. You may even recognize some of the same vehicles. A must have for a PSP owner and even people who have never played burnout should get quite a kick from this little monster of a game. My only complaint is the lack of online players over the internet, but I'm pretty sure you can play against others around you on hoc mode. Simply great!
