Burning Wild by Christine Feehan - depressing
1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
I have all of Christine Feehan's books -I absolutely love them - but this book I am not fond of. It is simply too depressing. I felt that the book tried too hard to be edgy, the sex was not romantic or fun or in any way a positive experience, and it was so far beyond realistic that I could not associate with the characters, even though I do with those in her other books. I understand and admire Ms. Feehans ability to take characters with abusive childhoods and show that they can become strong, confident adults but, somehow, that message was not shown to its best light in this book. So, if you are looking for paranormal romance/erotica, I highly recommend Ms. Feehan's other books such as those in her Carpathian (vampire), Game (genetically altered) and Drake (7 powerful sisters) series but do not recommend this one.
