It was quite difficult, and I consider myself to be pretty in-shape. But my sister swears that it gets easier each time, so I guess I'll keep at it. You are basically using your own body weight, and positioning your leg at an angle. At least for the Inital leg exercises,and inner thigh work. I did not however think the outer leg work was as effective. But in using the exercises you will see results quickly if used as regularly 3 times a week. It is a little old and the trainer talks way too long... When ever my routine slips, I pick this back up to catch up. I have been using it off and on for years. And it is hard to find. I bought my first copy of this video in 1991 after my son was born. It killed me. It hurt just to walk the first week I did it. But it WORKED. I did it 6-7 days a week, and in three months, went from a size 14 to a size 6. And I looked great, head to toe. There's a few minutes spent on upper body and abs, and it's always been enough to keep everything looking good. I have a lot of exercise tapes but the only one I've used consistently is the original Buns of Steel. The music, set, clothes are dated, but who cares? I only care what my butt looks like at the end. Although after doing it for a while, just turn Greg down and blast whatever music you like. I've just bought another copy of this to use as a back-up for the one I have now (my third copy over the years.) I've never got to the point where this was an "easy" workout, but you work out for results, and this will give them to you.
