Bumbleride Flyer - Good ride for a child

We bought a Flyer when on vacation in Florida during November '06 for our 5 week old second child. In the shop we liked the flipping handle and pivoting wheels that allow pushing with the rider facing you or facing away. This let's you just change the way you are pushing when the sun will be shinning right in baby's eyes. Also upper part of the handle, covered in soft rubber, rotates to adjust pushing heights. We took it for maiden voyages around the lands of the mouse for 4 straight days and were very happy with it. Mom(5'4")can push it either direction without any trouble or thought, Dad(6'3")has to be more careful when it is set with the baby facing him because the wheels are closer to his strides in this configuration. The basket under the seat can handle sweatshirts for all four of us or a narrow duffle that we pack with diapers and the other stuff you need when you're out for a day.
The back folds flat for infant riding and sleeping. The sunshade attaches directly to the top of the seat so nothing comes out the top. The back of the canopy also includes a covered pocket (it's like small purse) with a buckle to keep things securly inside that is large enough for an empty sippy cup and small souvenirs/cell phone/keys. It has a boot that snaps in securely over the riders feet/lower half for warmth. This, too, includes a zippered pocket large enough for baby's blanket. The Flyer also has a five point harness for snapping in the rider securely.
Two drawbacks; Sadly, we lost the plastic cupholder because of the way it's clipped over a steel button. Second, we're going to have to figure out how to put a child's tray on it for the snacks and toys that will now be in play as the rider ages.
There is a lot of frame so it's a good thing it's aluminum but it is more flexible than the old steel one we used for child one, so it makes you think it could be weak. However speaking of child one, when the nights got late and we headed out of the parks he slid his 50 plus pounds into the seat, it easily handles the load and and is still very manueverable. For fun, I like to flip both the front and rear set of wheels to full rotate and push it like an english shopping cart - any which way going forward - it helps get you thru crowds, too.
It does not fold down to a tiny size, if you leave it in your car for shopping or other trips around town you need trunk room, a wagon, or minivan to haul it and what you bought. The covers come off the frame for washing (which it will need from going in the hold of the plane) and look super, nearly like new, without bunches or wrinkles like I thought would happen.
We really do like the Flyer, but because of size we bought a second one on e-bay early this summer which will stay at grandparents in Florida. This will leave room in the wagon for more stuff when we make the long drives and keep it out from the dirty belly of a plane when we are lucky enough to find cheap airfare.
