Building A Shed by Joseph Truini

This was the first book I bought when I started building sheds. I took many ideas for my own buildings from this book, and I am very glad I found it when I did. Its comprehensive, helping you plan and providing numerous pictures for inspiration for you own project.
This book features 4 different styles of buildings, from a smaller lean-to shed to a much larger gambrel barn. The suggestions throughout as to the quality of materials to use, the construction techniques and methods for putting the project as a whole together are fantastic.
It covers virtually every obstacle you may encounter when deciding to build your own shed, starting with a great overview of available materials, and then talking about the different techniques you can use for wall-framing, roof framing, and accessorizing your shed. They mock build 4 sheds in this book, but many of the techniques are transferable to your own design.
The pictures are great, and I believe the book is basic enough (although there are a few advanced topics) for a skilled Do-It-Yourself homeowner to apply these procedures to their own project, and have it come out great. I highly reccomend this book.
