Build Your Own Electronics Workshop by Tom Petruzzellis (2005, Paperback)

This book covers many subjects, including putting together a nice electronics workbench and the basics of what you will need. It shows how to build some of the equipment needed, and how to use many of the items you have.
I really am still learning quite a lot, and I can't say how useful the book would be to some people who have worked with electronics for many years.
