Build Your Own Electronics Workshop by Tom Petruzzellis (2005, Paperback)

Tom did an excellent job of putting together a tremendous amount of information on how to set things up. I would recommend this book for any individual setting up a home shop or even a professional developing a small operation. If I had a compliant it would be on the quality of the pictures as they are printed. But then again, if he uses a more expensive process, the book would cost more. Dollar for dollar, this is a great book. The information I obtained as paid for its purchase price.

Most books in this arena either aim to high or to low in the technical level required for the information to be of any real use. Not with Tom's book, right on target. For the record I do not know Tom Petruzzellis personally, nor is this a commercial endorsement.

Tom has put together an excellent resource foranyone wanting to put together a home electronics workshop, complete with reasoned discussions of why to pick certain equipment, approaches and designs. I have other publications written by author Petruzellis and while this one is more fundamental in its approach, it is well worth the investment.

I was particularly taken with the opportunity to have an original author-autographed copy.
