"Most birdhouses, according to "underground architect" Malcolm Wells, are "silly-looking boxes embarrassing us out of doors."", as published on Amazon.com review.
His view on bird houses are that we should look on how the birds make their homes.
I agree that we should try our best to make them a home as natural as possible but for those who can not it's okay because purchasing one shows your heart is in the same place as those making one.
We are all helping one way or another.
Also the designs given require some skill level and there is not alot of information about where to mount some of the houses or how big they should be for certain species.
I think this book was average.
