I suppose that what appeals to me about Bugsy Malone is the combination of slapstick comedy, wonderful music, an entertaining plot, and the bizarre combination of the real and unreal which make a child cast fit into an "adult" world. This is not to mention the fact that I loved the dancing. All in all, simply a lean back and be entertained kind of movie.
