A Bug's Life (DVD, 2003, 2 Disc Collector's Edition)

A Bug's Life was Pixar's way of saying that Toy Story wasn't a fluke and that computer animated films are here to stay. A Bug's Life is everybit as colorful, creative, and amusing as any other Pixar movie. Regardless of your age, it is impossible not to fall in love with the animated characters in this movie. The story is extremely funny and entertaining. Don't look past this excellent film.

This is a wonderful action packed family picture with a strong message of coming together and helping others.

This movie has long been one of my favorite Pixar movies, along with Finding Nemo and Monster's Inc. I am so happy to finally own the DVD since I have had a taped video cassette copy since 1999. This movie is full of laughs and is so clever. I love HeimlicH!

This is a great movie to watch with your children. I love it just as much as my daughters do. We have seen it quite a few times and still love to put in the DVD player and see it again.

I DECIDED TO BUY IT BECAUSE I LOVE ALL THE DISNEY PIXAR MOVIES. MY SONS BIRTHDAY IS IN NOVEMBER, AND I AM TRYING TO BUY HIM AS MANY OF THE DISNEY PIXAR MOVIES I CAN. THIS IS JUST A REALLY CUTE, LIFE LEARNING, LOVING MOVIE THAT CHILDREN WILL LOVE FOR YEARS TO COME. IT TEACHES THEM LESSONS OF LIFE, TEACHES THEM HOW TO LOVE EACH OTHER, AND ALSO TEACHES THEM ABOUT RESPONSIBILITY A LITTLE BIT. LORD KNOWS ALL CHILDREN NEED TO LEARN THAT.

I ordered the movie and got it three days later; and it was exactly what I wanted and the orignal that went out in the U.S. Great Seller.

I like the fact that the dvd was sealed! I bought it for my son.The movie was brand new, sealed and works great all for a really great price. It was shipped in a timely manner and gets two thumbs up from us.!!!!

I purchased it for my 3 grandchildren, ages 3, 5, & 7. I love this edition with the added disc 2 features! Saw the film myself when it was first released, and consider the graphics, storyline, music, and "life lessons" of the film to be excellent for young children, and the "child" in all of us. My grandchildren love the film and have watched the video numerous times since receiving it.

Our boy (2-1/2 years old) watches Cars every night before bed, so we bought this one in hopes of finding an alternative since we have Cars memorized. Well, there are quite a few scary scenes for a kid this young.

In addition, while the overall theme is positive, there is a lot of negative talk from the grasshoppers. Kids at a young age pick up on words like stupid and idiot (also in Cars) and it can be tough to train them not to use them. Wall-E is one of my favorites because there is hardly any dialog, no scary scenes, and the whole movie is pretty positive.

Anyway, kids 4 and up (to about 35 years old) will enjoy the A Bugs Life. Just be sure to sit with them every so often to reinforce the good behavior of the characters and condemn the bad.

Great movie for the whole family! Great animation and story. I already had the movie and we watched it so many times that we wore out our first copy so we had to get another one. No complaints about this movie what so ever! :)

This movie hits home on being honest and working hard for yourself. I like the characters in the movie because they are a family unit and always stick together.

My Grand daughter had seen parts of it and wanted the movie - it was kind of an old one so I was surprised to find it on ebay - made her a happy little girl.

Cute movie, with good story of 'good and bad.' My 3 year old grandson watched it twice in one weekend.
