Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds (PlayStation 2, 2003)

If you love Buffy the Vampire Slayer, you're definitely going to love playing this game!

A great thing about this game is that at the beginning it explains how you do certain moves, open doors, and things like that. Also the voices of the characters are authentic. Spike, Giles, Xander, Tara, Ethan Rayne, and Faith are all voiced by the actual actors. The actresses Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alyson Hannigan (Buffy and Willow) were not available to do the voice overs, but the characters in the game are still very very well done, very close to the original actresses, you can barely tell the difference. Two characters that you get to see again is Sid the Dummy and Kakistos.

The levels get harder and harder during the game, and sometimes it gets a little tricky to complete one of them. On average it takes between 1 hour - 2 hours to complete a level. During different levels you can also play different characters, you don't get stuck with playing as Buffy the whole game. And as you beat each level you unlock bonus features like interviews and voice overs from the actors.

Buffy the vampire slayer chaos bleeds is my all time favorite game.I got it Christmas morning and i started playing it RIGHT away.I just couldn't get the sundial right!But in 1 year i beat the game.So if you are a buffy fan like i am i would buy the game.Happy Shopping!P.S.,BUFFY ROCKS!!!!!!!!

Prior to buying this game, I had heard some good things about it. What I didn't realize was that the game was actually better than I thought it to be. Chaos Bleeds puts you right into the story, allowing the gamers to become vampire slayers themselves. Going through different levels into this intricate story line will show just how much the developers cared about the characters and the Buffyverse itself. Included is bonus content featuring interviews with some of the actors who provided voiceovers, such as Amber Benson, Nicholas Brenden, Anthony Stewart Head, etc. If you were to buy any Buffy game, I would highly recommend this one.

Like many I got this game because of the tv show. I don't think someone would have to have seen the show to enjoy the game, but if you are a fan it's even better. It's like playing through an episode of the show with many in-jokes Buffy fans will get. And any game where you get to play a ventriloquist dummy and kill the undead is worth it. LOL My favorite playable character is Willow because of her magic. Also, besides gameplay there are many extras to unlock. They include interviews with the cast and Joss Whedon. You also unlock characters for multiplayer mode. Completing the game will unlock Joss Whedon in multiplayer which is hilarious! My one complaint would be the camera angles but they're not too much of a problem. In all a really fun and funny game.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds is an excellent game of its kind. As you can see on other game rating sites, it get abotu an 8.5, that is excellent in the video game market. I reccommed this game to all Buffy fans because it really is a joy to play. The characters look great, the scenery is A+ like Sunndydale and its other various locales. Besides from slightly annoying controls (such as hitting a combo and it goes on about 3 seconds to long in the wrong direction) the game is still worth its value. Even non Buffy fans will enjoy this game. So if you love Buffy...buy it. You dont love Buffy...still buy it lol.

Okay so the game it self was really well done....it was like playing an episode...

However the moves are hard to learn. I wound up just kicking a staking my way through the game. Willows spells were hard to learn. But oh well if you like the show you will love the game

I love the show buffy the vampire slayer and that was the main reason I bought it. I was not disappointed in the game. It was just like the show and the plot was great. we played it to the end and it was awsome!

I bought the game because I love Buffy, and the game is kinda cool, its almost like a wierd episode of the show but longer, I like the fact that its not just a beat them up game and that you have tasks and obstacles to go through, but some of them are hard and some levels seem very long and time consuming, like when you play faith at the rock mine, it took me forever to find the secret passage to continue on in the game,I do like th fact that its also a 2 player fighting game with different games to compete in. Over all its a good game but you have to have a lot of patience to play it.

I was interested in the game because of the TV series. The game allows you to play as different players and the levels are fun but still a little challenging.

I love that they kept with the story line and history of the show. They have a great fighting style. They also make it beatable without taking forever to accomplish the task of beating the game. In my opinion Buffy ROCKS!!!

I am a die hard Buffy Fan and I've been waiting to get the game since I was young. It's not as fun as K.O. games like Tekken, for instance, but that's mainly because I die about 4 or 5 times before I can pass a level...lol! But I am determined to beat this game so I can unlock some super cool characters like Faith :D If you're a Buffy Fan, it is a definite MUST to add to your collection!

i bought the playstation 2 game, buffy the vampire slayer, ordered it on the friday and got in the following monday. excellent shipping time. i will for sure be buying from this user again

I love it, but then again I am a Buffy fan. I decided to buy it because I could not find it on PS2 anywhere. I checked all the game hotspots and nothing, but XBOX versions. I have a PS2, so ebay was the only option.

It came fast, and it looked brand-new, despite it's being formerly used. It was the best purchase I've ever made.

I recently bought Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Choas Bleeds (Playstation 2) game and was very pleased with the delivery time and game itself. My only dissappointment was the condition of the game case itself. I had planned on giving this as a birthday gift, but the casing looked quite worn and even had some scratches that tore the plastic. These damages may have been due to travelling within the U.S. Postal system however, so I can't be that upset. Overall I am satisfied with the game and will probably just keep it at my house for my nephew to play there.

This game is fun and challenging. great for any buffy fan! unlockable extras like cast interviews! no sara michelle gellar though! that would make it better.

i waanted this game because it is all about Buffy, and i am a huge Buffy fan!! this game really dissapointed me due to all the glitches in the game and the fact that i can only make it to level 6 before i can't go any farther (due to the glitch of a non-igniting gas canister, that is supposed to ignite upon the contact with fire). i am also unsatisfied with the discrepancies that are a product of the strategy guide telling me that there is a "secret" in an area where it doesn't show up in the game. other than the things mentioned here, and a few other minor glitches, i think the game is fun. i love how it shows the vampires dust and how it includes most of the beloved people and places from Buffy The Vampire Slayer tv show

I used to own this game and had to sell it when times got rough. Now that I got it again I can't wait to play it. None of my local Video game outlets didn't have it.

I had this game at one point and it got stolen so I am ssooo happy that I got again. I got it very fast and it was exactly what I expected from the description given.
