Synopsis
The magic tree house takes Jack and his sister Annie to the Great Plains where they learn about the life of the Lakota Indians.

Via their magic tree house, siblings Jack and Annie travel back to the 1800s and into the lives of a Lakota tribe living on the Great Plains. A friendly Lakota boy named Black Hawk invites the pair to take part in a buffalo hunt, but when something goes wrong, the friends must put themselves in danger to prevent a buffalo stampede. B&w illustrations accompany the text.
