My 8 year old grand daughter loves playing this game
Review created: 11/05/06

The seller made it easy letting you know that this game was for younger kids, my grand kids love playing video games, the only thing I don't like is that most seller won't combine shipping or they way overcharge on shipping. A video game can be shipped media mail

  Return of the unfinished game.
Review created: 05/10/08

Almost 10 years ago i got this game. I never finished it. My nephew has learning issues. He liked gaming, but his mother doesnt work and had no money. I quit playing my games. I gave him my system with all my games. Somewhere he let one of his friends use my games. Most never got returned. One day I was over for a visit and asked if he still had my Nintendo 64. He found it and I figure Ebay would be the best place to find my old games I lost in the past. Just to finish the games I never got to finish.. Thanks Ebay. Wenzelracing2

  Fun Fun and...More fun
Review created: 04/20/00

Pros:
Good Graphics, theme, and fun factor

Cons:
Crosshairs Difficulty...But Its Really Not That Bad

Who would have thought that an unknown game like this could be so darn fun. It just came out of nowhere. Here's the situation. There's a war in the world of the bugs and the good guys are losing. In fact, their last ditch attempt at victory involves creating a super bug with synthetic parts capable of mass bug destruction. You are that bug, you are Buck Bumble. Excited? Maybe not. But you should be. The play control of this game is stellar, and you have full range of motion. You can fly nearly anywhere you like, walk, run, the whole nine yards. The scenery is fun also; you get to climb over...

  Be a BEE
Review created: 12/12/99

Pros:
You're a bee, how cool is that? instead of dying when you touch the grand, you LAND!

Cons:
Hard to target accurately

I have to admit, I was one of those people looking forward to this games's release. What other game lets you live the life of a bee fighting for freedom? This game is a typical flight/shooter that puts the camera right behind Buck all the time. Play control is surprisingly excellent, allowing you to pull off impressive maneuvers to evade and destroy other bugs. An impressive arsenal also exists to aid you in your fight. Although more variety in the types of bugs you fight would've been nice, there are still a lot in the game. Recommended to people who enjoy flight sims with a...unique taste.

Fun by yourself or with a friend
Review created: 12/06/00
by: dextorboot -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
great sound effects and lots of fun to play

Cons:
without a friend to play with, after you beat it, it may just sit there

Here's a game that's great no matter how old you are. There's a simple story for the younger one's out there and plenty of action for the older one's. The game isn't too terribly hard but if you find yourself getting frustrated there are some nice cheat codes that don't take away from the overall fun of the game. The puzzles are pretty straight forward so they're not too hard to figure out, but it's really the execution of them that drives the game. The graphics are typical N64 but they also fit the game extremely well, it's like watching a cartoon. The cutscenes are really well done and fun..

Pros:
...

Cons:
the entire game

Graphics: 4 of 10 Just one word sums up the graphics of Buck Bumble: B O R I N G (all capital letters and spaces between each letter) There was not any special effects, and I feel that the graphics do not live up to the Nintendo 64's standards. Simply disgraceful to such a system. Sound: 4 of 10 The opening, "theme", song is a simple rap verse that is just something to laugh about. As for the in-game music, you'd think I would say is good, but I'm not going to say that. It is just a short thing that gets so repetitive, it's annoying. The only thing keeping sound from getting a zero is the...

Right about now it's time to rock?
Review created: 01/13/00
by: Unlocked -- a member of Epinions

Pros:
Good intro and some interesting bosses with lots of shooting action

Cons:
Repeticious music, low replay, and overall not much fun.

All novelties fade quickly. That more or less describes Buck Bumble. I was drooling for this game when I first heard of it. Air and ground missions, cool special effects, in the spirit of Starfox. Right from the beginning though this game starts showing it's flaws. The first mission is fun, "Swatting flies has never been so much fun." I said to myself. but since the second mission is about the same as the first it get's to be "Henry the eighth 64". The bosses add an interesting challenge once in a while but it sort of trails off and gets downright irritating. The special effects are a few...
