Bubble Bobble (Nintendo, 1988)

I used to play Bubble Bobble for hours on end and I don't to this day think I've ever beaten the final boss. You play as a tiny dinosaur who's method of attack is to encase the enemy in a bubble and then pop them before they get mad and bust loose. In my own opinion this game sucks unless played on multiplayer, you can't hurt each other and having a friend playing beside you makes it that much more fun, it also makes it easier in some of the later stages when you need to reach enemies on a platform at the top but with no way up other then jumping on your bubbles and hoping they don't pop and drop you back down...it's much easier when one stands at the bottom shooting bubbles and the other jumps their way to the top on the other one's bubbles. It wouldn't be so bad on one player except for the timer...if you don't kill all the enemies in a certain amount of time this whale skeleton comes out and homes in on you and there's no way to kill it YOU WILL DIE unless you're lucky enough to dodge him long enough to kill the rest of the enemies. All in all it's a fun game but a lot with a friend. I give it an 8 out of 10
