Bubble Bobble Evolution (PlayStation Portable, 2006)

BOBBLE BOBBLE FROM THE 80'S NES WAS A BRILLIANT AND FUN GAME. WHEN EVOLUTION CAME OUT FOR THE PSP, I GRABBED IT UP! THE BACK SAYS SINGLE PLAYER, VERSUS MODE CO-OPERATIVE AND COMPTETIVE MODES. WHEN I COULDNT GET COOPERATIVE MODE, I EMAILED THE MANUFACTURER. I WAS TOLD THERE IS NO CO-OPERATIVE MODE- A MISPRINT. THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF THE GAME IS TO PLAY WITH A TEAMMATE AND BOB AND BUB DEFEAT AND PROGRESS TO HIGHER LEVELS- THIS IS GREAT FUN! WITHOUT THIS THE COMPETATIVE MODE STINKS, THE SINGLE PLAYER MODE IS NOTHING LIKE THE ORIGIONAL- YOU PROGRESS BY BRAKING BUBBLES ON A WHEEL TO GO THRU A GATE TO THE NEXT LEVEL- NOT INTERESTING AT ALL! THIS GAME IS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ORIGIONAL BUBBLE BOBBLE AND IS A GREAT DISSAPPOINTMENT.

For all those gamers that LOVED the old Bubble Bobble, you'll appreciate the new one, Bubble Bobble Evolution! You have much more "play" features, being able to control 2 different charaters independently, and having an aray of different bubbles to work with, yet still keeping all the good stuff that we LOVED from the original Bubble Bobble. It's a great buy!
