Brushfire Fairytales by Jack Johnson (CD, Jan-2002, Universal Records USA)

I have said this is past reviews, that an artists first work is often considered his best. Any fan of Jack could say that this CD is his best. His first major album right before his big break out album that was less mainstream and contains more of "Jack" in it.

I love every song and still listen to this album all the time. I would rate the CD a 9 out of 10.

Go buy it. Plus I love how his CD cases are like Pearl Jams. There usually always different, but they are the cardboard folding ones with the lyric booklet tucked in a sleeve. No cheap plastic jewel cd case, but an artistic holder that makes it worth buying the CD as opposed to buying the songs from iTunes.

If you wanna get to know Jack Johnson you need to start with this album.

I heard Jack Johnson on the radio once and immedieatly bought the album. The DJ even said it was one of those that you can listen to end to end and enjoy every song. It's a fantastic acoustic album.

Good album, but I've not found anything close to the greatness of his In Between Dreams cd. This was good tho--but not as good as the other.

I've always liked Jack Johnson's music. The first CD of his I ever bought was Brushfire Fairytales, and I fell in love with his musical style. But once upon a time I broke up with my boyfriend and he took my original CD and busted it because he thought it would make me mad. So here a year later, totally forgot about the CD, heard one of the songs off of Brushfire Fairytales on the radio or something and found it on eBay. The product I recieved was in great condition, the songs play just as well as I remembered. I encourage anybody to buy this CD, I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy his rhythm as much as I do.

good easy listening music perfect to listen with your lady....excellant in morning with coffee. this guy should be more famous than he is as most every girl that has listen to this cd falls hard.

Great price too from the buyer, the CD works he, worth buying. Jack Johnson has that great relaxed music that he plays, always reminds me of the beach, but it's not too slow so that it becomes boring.

It has a good mellow sound, not too up to par for my taste in jack johnson, but as always a good mixture of mind body and soul. Not much to dislike unless you don't want to mellow out.

Really what can I say but I love his style of songs. Very down to earth, not like most people today flashing there gold and what not, Jack Johnson is timeless.

This is probably the 4th time I've bought this cd. It's been beaten up, stolen, lost. I love the cd because it's so mellow and calming. I love playing it in my car when it's raining.

I'm expecting our first child in April and wanted something calm and relaxing to play while he's still in the womb, I've heard that what they hear then will relax them when they are fussy. I can play this cd all the way through so I thought it was the best choice. :)

Jack Johnson is the Best!!! Love his music. Needed another copy after a brother borrowed one copy and move away....to the far west coast. Next copy a friend a work(??) borrowed and lost it?? Yeah Right!!
