Brum is a British children's show about a little car that always "saves the day". It is very cute and my kids and I love to watch the antics that unfold in each story.
I purchased the DVD on EBay because they are rather hard to find in most video stores (or stores that also sell DVD's).
The one thing that you need to be aware of when purchasing Brum DVD's on Ebay is to MAKE SURE that the DVD you bid on is formatted for your DVD player. Because it is a British production, many of the DVD's on Ebay are designed for foreign players. This means that they will not work on your player unless you have a Universal DVD player.

Great at What It's Supposed to Be
) The purpose of the show/DVD is to entertain children, and it does so very well. It is not particularly educational, and most of its stories/vignettes seem to resolve around thieves making off with various items that Brum (the car) re-captures; however, it is entertaining for children. I would not recommend this movie for children younger than 2, because if the child doesn't understand that the car is chasing thieves, it probably looks like some evil machine is chasing down random people. My son (at just barely 2) was confused by this, but we put the DVD away for a while. About 4-5 months later we brought it back out, and now he is obsessed with it.
It's too bad that Brum is not more mainstream, because my son would love to have all the Brum stuff i.e. sheets, posters, clothes.
