The Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew and English Lexicon by C. Briggs, Francis Brown, S. Driver (1996, Hardcover, Reprint)

I like the approach of listing the Hebrew words by their roots. However, I found the title misleading, as it is not really a lexicon of both English and Hebrew, but only of the Hebrew. I was disappointed to be unable to look up English words to get their Hebrew equivalent; this book allows one only to begin with the Hebrew word. The information is also often too detailed, making it difficult to find the specific word I am looking for. I believe the book is best suited for the experienced user already comfortable in Hebrew, more than for the more average or beginner student of Hebrew.

I like that the book arrived in excellent condition and right on time. There was no stress or worry at all. Thank you!
