I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love by My Chemical Romance (CD, Apr-2005, Eyeball Records)

My daughter loved it. She is a big fan of My Chemical Romance and could not find this CD in the store.

For true fans of MCR this is them at their best. This is before the days of Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and all the constant playbacks on MTV. This CD was created when MCR was still burning a path on the road throughout New Jersey trying to create a fan base for themseleves. Often at times people forget that we often do our best work when no one is expecting anything great to come from us and this CD is a good example of such thinking. From start to finish every track is played and sung as if it were to be the last run of MCR and the titles for the songs are far more colorful then the ones found on Three Cheers. Headfirst for Halos, Skylines and Turnstiles(A Personal Favorite) Vampires Will Never Hurt You, and Honey This Mirror Isn't Big Enough For The Two Of Us are all well known by MCR fans and thus get noteworthy press from this album but all the songs are worthy of play again and again. For true MCR fans to call themselves true fans this is a must have.

Awesome cd, My chemical romance at it's best. This is definately a must have cd for anyone who claims to be an Mcr fan.

If you wanna hear good MCR this is the album to get. It's amazing. Its pure my chem a lot of people like it better then TBP, and I'm one of them. Not so organized and a lot more fun to rock out to.

About as different as a cd can get from MCR's 2006 cd The Black Parade but it is still an amazing raw, vampire inspired album.

I love MCR, and their awesome so... whats not to like? If you buy the first album you should get the 2nd and the DVD set as well (Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and life on the murder scene with 2 hour footage of the band and ect, the black parade CD, The Black Parade CD, The Black Parade is Dead! Live CD and DVD of theie last concert in Mexico!!!)

While its not my favorite of MCR's CD's, that being said when you listen to this you can tell how much they have grown as a band- I purchased this and am very happy- the energy the hard edge almost punk sound-you could just tell they are destined for greatness.

I recently purchased My Chemical Romance's I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love because I already had one of their albums and a new one was due to come out. I wanted to hear the very first album that they put out. At first, I was a little dissapointed because the music sounded different from what I was used to hearing on 3 Cheers for Revenge but the more I listened to it, the more I liked it. I think that although the music is a little different, it is definitely worth listening to if you are a My Chemical Romance fan because this was their debut album and the band definitely has their own style.
