This tells a story without holding back anything of the hardships these great and very brave men had to endure. From the streets of So Phila. in the 30's to the undieing friendship between them.Fantastic read,you feel like your right there with them.

Babe and Wild Bill are what Philadelphia and America are all about. Great read. Funny at times. The real deal.

Great read; these stories are written as though you are hearing Babe and Wild Bill tell them to you. Good book to read following Band of Brothers.

I admit I am biasedas I love the "Band of Brothers" miniseries and these 2 guys were two of the main characters. Their memories are both sharp and poignant, and it doesn't hurt that they were from South Philly!

I love this book. It's a fantastic first hand look at the amazing creature called the citizen soldier. I've seen Bill and Babe in many interviews and this book is truly written in their voices. For anyone who wanted more after Band of Brothers - this is for you. For anyone interested in history - this is for you. These guys refuse to be called heroes but I'll take the liberty of calling them national treasure.

The insight given by Bill & Babe is invaluable. Truly a must read for anyone who has any interest in "Band of Brothers" or WW II.

I highly recommend this book, It is in Bill and Babe's own words,kind of like they are being interviewed.They are extremely interesting men , this is the story in their own words of what they went thru, good and bad.Their lived were changed by the war they fought in,as are all who serve their country in war.These men are a dying breed,they words should be and neen to be heard.This book was so intersting and good that when I was done reading it I felt like reading it ragain right away, I cant say that for a lot of books.After just a few pages you will be able to tell who is talking just by his words.Read it, you'll enjoy it, I did!

I bought this book for my husband because he loves the Band of Brothers series. Also, the book was signed by the authors, so this was the biggest reason I chose this particular book.

Both my husband and myself enjoy reading and watching anything regarding war history. We also enjoy non-fiction novels.

I like anything on WW2,Really interested on the stories like this one.My dad was there also at this time in Bastogne,I also am a big collector of WW2 military.
